I Would Like To Upgrade Clan To Higher Tier But Have Some Concerns

Currently I am warlord of Ghost Clan with 10 members. We have fully builded dojo with completed all researches. Now we think to upgrade to Shadow clan (up to 30 members) because there are 2-3 friends who would like to join us. Since if I upgrade our clan to higher tier there is no downgrade (according Warframe Wiki)), so I have some questions before I make this decision:

1. Whether our completed researches remain?

2. How much will rise costs of resources? Whether only 5-10 active players can handle this?

3. Because unity is one of most important characteristic of our clan so we dont want too many players (max 15-20), so what do you think is this upgrade good idea in our case in terms of suffering vs other fully membered clans?

Everything remains, however everything in the future will be more expensive (roughly 3 times, by my recollection). The other issue is that if you intend to move rooms or decorations, you only get back the cost you paid at the time in your clan vault. Not really a huge deal since the only major costs (like Forma) remain at 1.

 

I'll say it's a fine idea. We did the same in the clan I am in, and I've personally built up a huge amount of the dojo just because I can. New research will cost (implemented in future updates) a bit more than you are used to, but nothing too crazy. Unless they implement another new resource like Oxium, all the costs are still relatively small.

Another note to take into concern ... if you are the kind of competitive clan during events.

Seeing how last events were handled, thus score based on sum of the max of each player in the clan,

It's "somewhat easy" to achieve good position with 10 players in a ghost clan.

This will be harder, if not unpossible, to achieve good final position with 15 players in a Shadow Clan.

 

Concerning the dojo costs, dont worry the cost increase is really small :)

And yes, you'll keep everything done before the upgrade.
