Makemap
Weak Armor, poor Health, poor Shield ,no good AOE ability. All he is good for is Desecrate. You know what he needs in improvement? His Descrate skill. #1 The bodies explode and deal damage while at it. This should buff his desecrate skill to 75 energy. #2 Desecrate allows Nekros to summon enemy units using "Shadows of the Undead". I'm tired of Nova, Ember, especially, Rhino killing everyone and I cannot summon a single unit when it comes to boss fights. 123Olympian
Agreed, and his Shadows of the Dead don't even do much as they usually have the AI of a rock. I would want to see Nekros a mix of farming and evil spellcasting really.
InariOkami
I like Nekros don't get me wrong, but I also have to agree with Makemap, this is true.

BrotherIcarus
Yes make him the new one trick pony /sarcasm. I have seen from experience how good a power strength and duration build is on him and at high level missions he can be used to great effect. That being said he needs a buff but he is not the weakest warframe.

Psychosist
Nekros needs range to best utilize his Desecrate, but maximizing that weakens power Strength, which negatively affects Shadows of the Dead and Terrify. Soul Punch should add to the Shadows of the Dead roster in addition to the current kill-to-add system. This allows him to select targets without necessarily having to kill them. Terrify needs to have the target limit removed so we don't have to maximize power strength. I mean, it already has a cooldown timer, but a target cap makes it so much worse. Desecrate is up for debate on reworks. Shadows of the Dead AI needs to have buffed shields / health / armor / speed to compensate for the bad AI. It also relies on power strength which might need a second look considering a maximized Desecrate essentially makes SotD worthless. tl;dr His skills don't synergize and that's what makes him hard to use. Darkjackal_2031
He is in no way the weakest. He may be bad, but he is not the worst.

RibbonRobbin
Loki's pretty squishy back then. Not sure if they buffed him. He still is squishy, but that only gives the player more of a consensus to utilize his abilities and speed. He one of the more "unique" frames IMO, befitting of his name. BrotherIcarus
Then enlighten us on how he could be used to great effect. Well as to the build I think it was a strength and duration build. It was simply using him in a tower 3 defence and we got to wave 40 on the back of his shadows of the dead and terrify turns out when you bring back a load of level 50+ enemies to fight for you they can kill stuff quite nicely. I still think he still needs a buff but he can be used and modded to be very powerful.
RibbonRobbin
Hmm, I have seen that scenario a lot more differently in my case of another player using SOTD and terrify. The "shades" just drop on a T3 and the terrified enemies, though some ran, half of the terrified ended up being more aggressive.
1lusion
I don't really think hes weak. I personally think hes more a support role. SOTD is by far IMO the best CC in the game. Desecrate is the most useful ability in the game. Terrify is a good flee and Soul punch is decent comparing to shock/ice wave which don't have a knockback. xkillo32
nah i would rather be able to spam desecrate more than make it be an ability that does damage
(PSN)natek_morzy
I agree he could use a buff but the fact is he's a supportive role. He can be very powerful but is just hard to build. Edited March 30, 2014 by (PS4)natek_morzy
RibbonRobbin
I think his soul punch should be much more "wide reaching", like a radial explosion behind the target... and he should have a much higher energy pool for his squishy-ness.
Stormandreas
That's a stupid notion.Nekros is a PURE SUPPORT character. He does not need damage, and if you rely on damage abilities so much, how about just starting the game all over again, because that's the whole damn reason we have weapons. He is made to run solo and make himself a team to distract the enemy, or run support to gather loot, and provide a cover team. Caernarvon
If the Shadows actually had proper AI and if his Terrify could be spammed he could be good.
Ttariel
He needs a buff yes, but Oberon would be in way bigger need as he has no point at all after they fixed the revive bug (Make that into a thing DE) while nekros is stll loved in survival for his endless amount of life support. RealPandemonium
Weak Armor, poor Health, poor Shield ,no good AOE ability. His armor and HP are average at 65 and 300 respectively. His shield is slightly below average (higher than 4 other frames) and the last thing we need is another press4towin ability. Nekros just needs SOTD to have better AI and a little more base duration, and for terrify to be freely recastable. Soul punch is a decent skill but changing the damage types to something useful (impact and mag damage are both pretty bad) and making it easier to aim/increasing the AOE would make it functional and satisfying. Desecrate is fine as-is, Overextended is not even remotely necessary with a 20m base range.
