With The New Water Frame

I think its because Neptune is supposed to be a water planet. Which might fit the fact that the water frame is coming out soon™.

Neptune is (in actuality) a gas giant, though. It's worth mentioning, though, that Eris has no boss mission tied to it right now (and Eris is a dwarf planet that is far enough from the Sun to be covered in ice. It's water, just... frozen).

I'm confused.. why would Neptune get a new tileset when we get the water frame?

Neptune is a gas giant but since it's named after the Roman god of water (seas, ocean, whatever) so people think there is a connection between it and the water frame. I personally do not agree with this thinking because the planet is controlled by the Corpus so it would be odd for them to have a Grineer tileset.

Or we can just put him on Earth and move whoever is on Earth right now.

Earth is full of water.

Even has an epic river.

But with how intense this guy looks, and how it seems the new shipyard tileset is actually next to an ocean (plus it's raining all the time) he may be where ever that tileset is put.

It'd actually like it if the new tileset was ALSO part of earth, but a new section of nodes that are for high level players. (I think something like that should eventually happen for all planets, except Mercury maybe.

Oberon is on Earth, and he's definitely not getting moved with how recent he is (and he even displaced another frame when he was put there).

Name or not, we can't exactly have a water tile set on Neptune. Any discernible surfaces on Neptune are just rock and ice right? Hard for a liquid water character to find a place there.

Water frame will either be clan tech or on Eris.

Eris has no boss right now (and no warframe tied to it), and failing that, clan tech.

Well if they go with the other thing I mentioned, having another set of nodes for higher level, we can have both of them on the same planet. They'd just be two boss encounters. I wouldn't be surprised if Hek (for the big shot they are setting him up to be) was a higher level boss, and they have something like a "mini encounter" with him or a totally different mini boss on the current boss node for players on their first run of earth. While this is also correct, a lot can happen in all the year till when warframe is based. Consider that Venus, the second closest planet to the sun, has ice levels. I still hold my thinking that the tile set would probably be on Sedna or Saturn.
