CrugerSoulek
What do you like to do to take your mind off of things or to cheer yourself up?A bit down right now and I need the distraction I guess. SquirmyBurrito
I engage in debates. Or read a good drama.Hope you feel better. Edit: Oh, and anything really feels-y is usually a quick remedy. Strangely enough, it doesn't matter whether it is feels-y in a happy or sad way. FissionStorm
I personally watch Gundam or play warframe. The newest gundam series is very light hearted and more modern. Which makes it easy to get into and enjoy
Casardis
First I usually just play games as a distraction, but I always keep in mind that I'll need to face those "things" and "myself" eventually So then I usually talk to my friends, those I trust enough to have in-depth discussions and with whom I can share such things. I also avoid making it like a confession, and actually try to have a conversation where I can have their opinions and suggestions, where we can discuss the issue at hand, as a way to do introspection. This is a good way for me to understand myself better and knowing how to face those issues (and how I react to those issues) in the future when it happens again (because it will). I wish you the best to deal with your current issues. Edited March 31, 2014 by Casardis
xShadowsaur
I play videogames!I also enjoy discussion and debate, sometimes search things out of purest curiosity, and lately I've been making odd little images about warframe. kaboomonme
Play a casual RPG. Like Skyrim or Deus Ex. Then make choices opposite of what I'm feeling at the moment. If I'm upset, I go around being extra friendly with NPCs for no good reason. Vice-versa. BizarreFetalChimpanzee
I usually listen to various forms of music. Happy music though actually puts me in a worse mood, so I go with depressing or angry music. Gets me in a better mood. I also discuss random things with people, depending on what's on my mind. CrugerSoulek
I engage in debates. Or read a good drama. Hope you feel better. Sweet. I think I'm a bit too soft spoken/passive for debates haha. Still, a good drama might see a different perspective on things. Thank you. I personally watch Gundam or play warframe. The newest gundam series is very light hearted and more modern. Which makes it easy to get into and enjoy It's the one based on models or something like, right? I think a friend of mine showed me a while back. I might have to give it a look, some time. I wish you the best to deal with your current issues. You're absolutely right. It seems a bit difficult to do (for me, anyway) because I feel stuck in this complex that I don't want to burden my friends with my problems.. They go through enough as it is. It's a big fault of mine that I need to work on. Still, as with getting better with anything, it's gonna take time and practice, I suppose. Still, unleashing on the Grineer or Corpus can probably ease my nerves, lol. I play videogames! I also enjoy discussion and debate, sometimes search things out of purest curiosity, and lately I've been making odd little images about warframe. Here, have some nice jam to make you feel better Thank you! I have something for my peanut butter, now :D. Lol. As said, debate probably isn't for me, lol, but I may research some things on the era of warring states of 15th-17th century Japan. I love anything that deals with samurai (even taken up iaido. It's a nice stress reliever!) Play a casual RPG. Like Skyrim or Deus Ex. Then make choices opposite of whay I,m feeling at the moment. If I'm upset, I go around being extra friendly with NPCs for no good reason. Vice-versa. Haha, I could only imagine. "Today is a great day!...for murder..." -evil grin-. Anyway, I'd play Skyrim, but I have a bad indecisiveness problem where when I make the character for the concept, I end up deleting him/her right after. I guess I do it for the idea only, maybe(?) smithf
Take a energy-modded Ember (Prime) and go streaking with constant World of Fire on a low level Infested mission, and enjoy the serene fireworks and body piles on the floor. It soothes the mind and calms the soul. :P

I know what you mean. It's odd, haha. In times like these, it's usually something that pertains to the situation rather than "look at what you have, now" kinda things. Btw, you guys are awesome. Really wasn't expecting to hear actual responses, rather, just trolling stuff because it's the internet. :P

I personally know very little about Japan, I'm more into looking up zoological and paleontological information. I also like making up theories about videogames and sometimes writing them down. I made a theory on how the factions in warframe represent humanity's relationship with technology and what each faction represents and how it all flows into one another. That's definitely an interesting theory. Could see some of the more obvious things like the Grineer being mad with power and failed experiments result in the Infested. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you ask this because you're stressed and you want ideas to help alleviate you of it even if slightly. Best of luck. Napping is also a wonderful passtime, though I am cursed to never be able to take a proper nap. Another way to feel good is to go on warframe and get with a few buddies and help them. Or go as an oberon or trinity and help lower level guys by being a medic.

Too awake for a nap (it's about 1:17am, here). Still, I appreciate the insight and the inspired curiosity on that theory. :D OP, you just gave me a nostalgia attack. Now I have to go play Fallout 3 again. *pauses episode of Spider-Man* (the animated series from the 90s) Happy to be of service! lol. CrugerSoulek
I watch some silly innocent movie, preferrably an old one, something Weekend at Barney's! That reminds me, I have a few movies to watch, actually...too many to count. .__. if i'm troubled by something, i find that hanging up wet toilet paper and using the hair dryer to dry it gives me a feeling of accomplishment and purpose Lol, that's awesome. Does seem like it could be challenging if they're ready to tear, too. Play different video games or watch tv. Sweet. I think there might be some games I will avoid for now (LoL, specifically..., haha)

I watch documentaries, I listen to comedy. If you have a lot of time on your hands, I highly recommend the late George Carlin. If, let's say, you have a day off and you have nothing to do and you're stressed I would suggest listening to his Audio Books. They're on youtube, they're several hours long (The longest being When Will Jesus Bring The Porkchops) and just let rich humor take your struggles away. Well, if you want bro, I could make something for you to make you feel better. I'm new into photo editing, but I could try to make you something. I'm going to assume your favorite warframe is ash. Well, here's something for you. To help you deal with whatever comes your way! If there's anything I can do to help you, you know how to ask. So, just want to know out of curiosity...? Smoke some crack. Go driving around for dirty skanky street walkers. just trolling stuff because it's the internet. :P =D ------ Jokes aside, what others have mentioned. I like to laugh, I'm subscribed to mostly comedy channels on Youtube. Laughter is food for the soul =D Also note, that I'm never done and out. Can't recall the last time I had the bluuues. Or was depress or anything serious like that and I've been through a lot, but I like to look on the bright side and thank God for another day because it can always be worst. many others out there are going through much worst. So never time to dwindle in sorrow, depression... just go shoot spitballs at baby ducks =D .
