LeMoog
The number of times I have started a mission to pick up the remaining mission on a planet only for some camper to join the session and just sit there at spawn not even moving. Sitting there waiting for me to complete the mission alone against a greater enemy because of their presence. The game needs a idle timeout on spawn such that if you sit there doing nothing for over a minute the game auto kicks you from the mission. This is something virtually every other online game has implemented to remove idlers, the leech on this particular game was called REDACTED TO PROTECT THE GUILTY and as I am typing this he is still doing nothing even after I completed the mission alone,I can be certain that he is very much AFK and I would say deliberately . direcyphre
Generally referred to as leechers, by being afk/idle. This is generally the consensus on the topic if you search the variety of posts about it. Problem is a system that works reliably.

AFK for over a minute is hardly a difficult system to implement and to be fair if you are afk for over a minute after spawn why should you be allowed to stay? It is always this way. Nothing new, just a new location. Then I would say it was about time they fixed this issue, clearly I am not alone being grumpy about these players Edited March 31, 2014 by LeMoog

.Absolute.
I advise you remove the name before you receive a warning point. Idlers have been an issue and the DE most likely are working on a way to solve this issue. Edited March 31, 2014 by Absolute_ITI

Maybe the message isnt getting across, do DE read these forums or are the moderators and admins supposed to pass on the important posts to the devs? Is anybody with the power to address this issue listening?
KingTaro
It's hard to detect leechers. You could bypass the detection by simply placing an object on your forward key (or with a macro). If they add a detection that checks whether or not you're killing, than this would backfire at those playing a support role, like Trinity, Nekros,... The problem with the leecher-detecting is that once you know the conditions, you can easily bypass it. The only counter would be a human interaction. Something like votekick, but this is also a feature that can be abused. Anyway, the feature that DE seemed to be working on is the Reputation system. While this idea has been around for a long time, it's not at the top of DE's priority list.
