Trading Help?

This might sound silly, but I was wondering if you guys have any tips on trading. Like, Mod/Item choices, what to avoid, what's worth what, stuff like that. 

 

See, I'm one of those players who isn't a newbie, but doesn't quite have the money to spend on Platinum. (Money's tight, so the more important necessities go first.) So I figured that my next option is trading, and seeing what I can chuck out that I'm willing to for a few platinum to expand my weapon and Warframe slots (4 Warframes and 10 weapon slots gets a bit restrictive at times, aha--).

 

I'm not really versed trading, since most of what 'trading' I have done is people just giving gifts to me. Off the top of my head, I'd probably be able to part with a few gold Fusion Cores (Don't have many) and... maybe like, 2 unranked Hammer Shot mods? How much would those be worth?

Patience is key in trading. Browse the trade chat, see what people are selling, what people are buying, at what prices, then you can start to generalize your own price ranges.

Suggest you hit the Orokin Derelicts for mods like Heavy Caliber, Fleeting Expertise, Narrow Minded, Overextended, Vicious Spread. 

Maxed Heavy Cal and Narrow Minded can fetch a price somewhere between 200 - to as ridiculously high as 400 plat. 

 

Any available spare prime parts would definitely help. Demand is pretty high for Rhino Prime parts right now, the Chassis are going for somewhere around 40-80 plat.

Demand is also pretty high for the Boltor Prime, the BP especially. 

 

Personally, I'll sell Hammershot for around 20-30. 

Keep a keen eye on the competition and for the people typing WTBs, if you have the item they want, pm them quick with a price.
