Valkyr's Hysteria Changes Kogake To Furaxes

What it says on the tin. Only time this has happened to me so far, but I figure it's worth mentioning.

 

Just picked up the Kogake, put them on the Valkyr, went around punching stuff. Chained two Hysterias together and when I returned to normal status I was unable to melee, period.

 

Went ahead and finished the mission anyway, and the rewards screen told me that I was wearing level 30 Furaxes instead of the level 4 Kogake I was actually using. I don't even own the Furaxes.

 

This isn't the first time I've had this issue with being unable to melee, but usually it's after chaining way too many parkour maneuvers together, not just using an ability twice. Maybe it has something to do with gauntlet weapons having some animation crossovers with Hysteria?
