Lamax92
So let me get this straight. I heard that Wednesday, helmet skills are erased. Meaning, for example, my Avalon Excalibur helmet won't grant me any stats if I get it after Wednesday update. Is this true? I won't, for instance, be able to get a sprint boos Vanguard helmet? SALE94
You can use boost, but only if you claimed/used helmet before erase. Players that for example started playing after the change they will not be able too use old version of helmets with stats. So yeah you are safe. JHarlequin
Not necessarily in the next patch, but kind of likely, they are changing it so that the alert blueprint rewards will be awarding versions of the helmets that will not have stat changes included. So if you don't already have the helmet then you won't be able to get that type of helmet. The helmets will still be available though, just no stat changes. SpilockT_T
It's still under consideration... DE might/might not do it this update.

JHarlequin
So any helmet I have with stats wont be changed , right ? I didn't listen as closely as I should have but it sounded like, hey since you have it, it's still for you. As in, if you have the helmet already, then you will be able to keep it with stat changes. Though there will possibly be an option at some point to convert it to a non-stat helm as some people don't like some of the stat changes and would prefer the helmets without changes. Lamax92
Jesus christ, how unfair is that.
Habba
On the first hand its unfair for those who farmed the helmets and or bought it , as the intention of doing so was for cats . On the other hands , for new players or players without these helmets , they miss great stat improvement opportunities . But that's the same as with the event-mods . You kinda screwed if you didn't participated .

Noogums
Didn't they say they were going to give us a Blueprint that lets us remove the stats, only if we CHOOSE to remove them?
HillsAndTheSea
the helmets are not getting their stats removed. however any new helmets will not have stats, and if you have an old one, you can convert it into a new one. so you can keep your useful helmet stats if you choose to but now, you can also get rid of the useless ones, regular speed thrak, no -duration gambit, no -efficeny scorpion, etc

LoneStar4
Will the one's in your foundry that havent built yet, still have the effect? or do you have to claim it before the update to keep the stats?
(PSN)Pengu_Imperialus
Is this verified though? They may always go a different route but that was the last wordEdit- if you already have it, it's yours to keep. If you don't they aren't going to be available anymore after A FUTURE UPDATE!!! CatScratch
Everyone, helmet stats being removed is something they are only considering, doesn't mean it will happen. In unlikely case they do decide to go with this option they will give players warning before the change happens and plenty of time to craft helmets. Lost_Cartographer
They say they have 7,000,000 registered accounts, but I wonder how many of them log in every day, every week, and every month. Usually people don't like power disparities, especially when they have no chance to close the gap. Can't help but think that at this point, DE just keeps digging the hole a little deeper each time. The guy that decided Vanguard had to be a huge speed boost (while Saryn's is meh) needs to be flogged by the way. But then, consistency hasn't ever been DE's strong point. See: cold damage mods on secondaries.
