volt IS weak in my opinion you know every frame can be decent at level 30 with a potato .. but yea.. volt is only good in situations with his speed buffs... other wize.. (i got him to lev 30 and deleted him to make room for other frames)

He is really good, I love him. Like you when you get to point where you can just speed past everything, stun everything and boost your gun play he just becomes unstoppable, been rolling with him since the beginning back in Jan 2013; fav frame.

He good.

He is a beast as a gunframe (he's pretty weak without a good gun), with a minor quick-cast CC (100% elec proc is great), damage-boosting shield, speed-up ability, and tanky shield.

The point to use him is to always in motion, only stay in one spot when using Elec. Shield, cast Shock while reloading or in pinch, and you're good to go.

He is a more specific frame . If you use him in ships against corpus --> beast . Open terrain against infested --> screwed .

Guess you haven't tried butchers/ichors berserker crit build with speed on vs infested, have you?

No, his skills are really specific to situation and his most used skill to me is Shock. It does no dmg, but staggers 100% of the time, can hit 5-8 targets, can hit around corners (50% chance to chain from object, 100% from live target so... risk/reward thing). Even on very high lvl void you can shock lvl 60+ gunners for mere 25 energy and they are out of combat for 2-3 sec. in that time you can reload, you can do anything.

Speed boosts your melee attack as long as your teammates. In combo with Valkyr this is one of the best OP melee boosts you can get (Berserker included here). Not to mention speed you get for running away if needed, you are faster then a corpus laser, stronger then grineer napalm, it's a zephyr, no it's a rhino, no it's supervolt.

Shield still bugs a lot of projectile weapons and continious fire weapons. They turn either into hit scan or have unlimited range. Not to mention that nothing in void can go through shields xpt corrupted ancient slap.

Overload in void is great > a lot of electronics for first shock, but even after it acts as AOE first skill. Granted it won't do much damage later on but still stuns everyone for few secs.

One of rarer frames that has 1290 shields on max (redirection + vigor). The only thing I found lacking on Volt is V polarity aura. I had to forma it to - so I could put corrosive projection in for void runs (-30% armor really counts, pretty much lowers enemy lvls for 10, so 60's feel like 50's etc.)

I run Volt everywhere, just ask my clan mates.

I will just add this : Shock DOESN'T cancel reloading ! Awesome if you use weapons with harsh reload time or for attacking without interruption.

In my case I only wish electric procs would reach their target a bit farther.

And more good side; you can keep shooting while the animation is still in play. (please don't fix it if it's really a bug)

When i use him he feels a little on the weak side compared to the others... Is it just me?

I suggest you either search the forums or wiki for solid Volt builds. Volt is a utility/support frame. It is not supposed to murder entire rooms on his own. Although, his ultimate can do just that if modded and used right.

He is pretty balanced imo , he's a nice ultility/defense frame , the only thing i dislike about him is his ultimate : Currently , there is no need for another " press this to nuke the whole room " simply because M.Prime exists .

Thanks for everyones feedback, i have been wondering for a while if he was worth building because i have been told he is the worst and weakest warframe.

He isn't.  He's one of the best balanced overall.  Personally, I find him to be the second best general-purpose damage-dealer, with only Nova beating him out (M-Prime with its crazy radius and Anti-Matter Drop are rather hard to compete with).  Shock is just amazing, his ultimate is better than most people think it is (they almost always tend to overlook the Electric AoE), and Speed is one of the best team utility powers (and quite addictive).

Honestly, I have to wonder if people that think he sucks do silly things like mod him primarily for duration and range, instead of efficiency and power strength.

damage to armor is pathetic and not worth even wasting time on, shock+shoot instead

Yeah, Grineer armor resistance is a minor pain, though that doesn't really make a huge difference (wussy mobs die easy and come in packs, making the overall damage still fine, heavies tend to take more regardless).  And of course there's the stun.  But yup, shock and shoot anything left standing, resists or not.  Only ultimate and shoot if there's a lot of mobs.

Which is one of the things I really like about the frame actually.  It feels more integrated than most of them, combining powers and weapons better, constantly using both.

I've honestly fallen in love with Volt lately. The only thing he's currently lacking is a larger Electric Shield and some better synergy with certain projectile weapons and his Shield (namely Torid, Ogris, bows). I have yet to even try Overload because I know it'll be just as disappointing as Molecular Prime.
