Best Place To Lvl Melee Weapons While Soloing

I've had issues connecting to pugs so I'm forced to solo some of the time. Can anyone recommend a good place to get fast melee exp?

 

I've tried mercury defense and survival but it felt slow, is there a better place?

If you want to level your melee weapons, always bring Ash, Loki, or Excalibur.

I prefer leveling my weapons at Mercury-Appolo-something at first up to a point when i can put 2 damage mods on them. Usually getting enough affinity to install just 2 mods takes a single run. 

Then i head on to Sedna-Berehynia, which gives you an amazing amount of XP. Too bad it was captured by the Corpus, it was so much better, since it was flooding with fresh Napalms and Bombards, which give you >700XP each. Oh well, it's not that bad currently, at least it's a tiny bit easier now. :)

After that, if i have an affinity booster on me, a weapon should already hit level 29-30.

If it didn't, i go to Ceres-Nuovo to wrap the things up. It also gives you some Orokin Cells sometimes, which is nice.

ODD with Vauban (Bastille), Nyx (Chaos) or Nova (MPrime, careful she don't one shot them most times). A frame to slow the mobs down from attacking you too much and the pod while you melee kill them.

I did mercury survival as loki for the first few lvls, once the lvl is high enough to add some poison damage i went to elara on jupiter.

But right now if you have some spare t2 survival you can level up your melee there quite well aswell. Just use loki, stay invisible and especially take down the heavy gunner leader. They are extreme affinity bags.

So i did mercury till my weapon was lvl 10(goes quite fast if you melee only), and then one longer survival on elara or void survival and my melee was lvl 30, but with affinity booster of course and as loki.
