Temfist
The Seer pistol, is one of my favorite secondaries in the game. I love everything about it, from it's awesome aesthetics, to it's built in Eagle Eye mod. The only thing is, it sux as an end game weapon, and for good reason, it drops from the first boss. It is for this reason, that I request that DE make's a BP from Vor's Prize, whenever they get around to making it, that is a BP for an alternate Skin to the Seer, instead of making a new gun. They could call it "Corrupted Seer Skin" or something, I don't care, but I would like it to be even more gaudy with orokin golden bits, but that's up to DE. The Skin would increase the Seer pistols base damage values before mods by 100%, or something like unto it, and make bullets cause AoE dmg instead of just being direct hit damage. This would make it a long range AoE. Because it's still the Seer, it would still be difficult to aim with, but very rewarding to use for skilled players, and would allow it to be an end game weapon without the hassle of making another weapon. If DE really wants, I guess they can just make Seer Prime, but it's already a Prime Weapon by most peoples regards, so that may seem weird. anyway, I just wanted DE to be aware of this request, I'm a big supporter of the game, and I would personally love a stronger version of my Seer, an end game, fun to use, sniper pistol. anyway, I would also just like to say I really appreciate all the new updates and content lately, thank you DE! Drakontis
That sounds like a fantastic idea. Though I do hope there are some choices. Like my quest idea that I just came up with. -CM-Tiffany
I don't think skins with stats are a thing anymore. I don't want them to be either. Maybe Seer's parts will start dropping from a harder, beefed up version of Vor you can fight in Vor's Pretzel. Or the twin beans. But I generally agree with the Seer buff. Temfist
have you tried the marelok? yes, it's cool and all, but it doesn't feel as satisfying as the Seer pistol. I just want the seer pistol shots to do what they look like they should, in addition to it being better in general. It's base values are really weak, and when using a max Hornet Strike on it, it only does around 800 or so, but it's got a balance of the 3 damage types, which is awesome. if it was dishing out 1600 ish dmg, 530 or so of slash, impact and puncture each, it'd be a super versatile sniper pistol, and with the AoE, putting Gas Status on it would make it great for dispatching mobs of any faction <
VoidPunch
Skins won't have stats anymore sorry. I like the Idea of Seer being better but skins with stats won't happen.
Hixlysss
Sorry bud, no more skins with stats. Never gonna be a thing with warframe. Though I wouldn't be opposed to a "upgrade" option. Much like how the dual versions of weapons require 2 of a weapon to make? Why not a "upgrade" system? Get the "Corrupted Seer" BP, and one of the components it needs is the Seer Pistol. DE could do this with many weapons, turning early game weapons to late or end game contenders.
Evanescent
Get a Detron man. Put 3 forma on it. Ohhh...That feeling!
Quonoa
Seer Prime would be cool, with the entire premise of stopping Vor being amplified to the extent of LOL HE GOT THE SUPER OROKIN TECH AND HE GONNA MAKE PRIME GRINEER, YOU BETTER SLAP HIM UP BRO BEFORE HE DOES. Replacing the duo on Phobos with SUPER VOR would be a neat solution.

CatScratch
Seer Prime I don't see why not. Seer is after all Grineer clumsy attempt at replicating Orokin technology.

Sixty5
Seer is already a solid endgame weapon. It isn't a DPS hose, its a DPH hand cannon. If it didn't have that terribad zoom, I'd run it a lot more.
PookieNumnums
I dunno why everyone seems so against stat skins. You ever had a sandwich that sucked so bad you lost your appetite? .. You still eat sandwiches tho don't you? There is a right way to do it. You guys aren't complaining about corrupt mods neg stats. They could make a helm for each stat type with common %s. And like op said.. it drops from the first boss so imo it shouldn't be end game unless all noob weapons are getting end game beefskins.
Vargras
I dunno why everyone seems so against stat skins. You ever had a sandwich that sucked so bad you lost your appetite? Because Warframe is a F2P game, skins are purchased with plat, and skins with stats very quickly begins to tilt things in the "pay to win" argument. Skins should only ever be cosmetic. Temfist
Because Warframe is a F2P game, skins are purchased with plat, and skins with stats very quickly begins to tilt things in the "pay to win" argument. Skins should only ever be cosmetic. I suggested this be a Skin that you can only obtain via Vors Prize and as a BP you need to construct, similar to a prime weapon. The only reason you "wouldn't" make this just a Skin for the regular Seer, is if the two were different enough, that you'd want them to be labeled differently, but all I'm asking for is for the shots to hit in a small aoe as their graphic animation suggests it should, and to do about twice as much as it does now. AoE would make it easier to hip shot with, which is really important to do with the Seer since the scope is a 100% zoom practically, anyway, a game being F2P doesn't mean you can't have unlockable skins, what kind of argument is that? cosmetics, especially ones that change stats, should not be "purchase only", cause if they make you better, and you can't obtain them any other way then purchase, you start to move towards pay to win, and that is BAD. That being said, you can still have them in your game, and in most cases, it's a good thing. Alternate helmets having stats is not great, as it suggests that the helmets are not purely cosmetic, but if a weapon, got a skin that made it a better weapon period, it's not just a cosmetic, it's an upgrade. Apply that to guns that are not end game, and you have a way to make crappy starter guns that don't have Prime or Wraith counterparts end game. either way, I'm only requesting a buffed Seer Pistol, and a possible way for them to do it. They can put the pistol in however they want, and they can do whatever they want. They can use my idea's in whatever way they see fit. I don't agree that all skins should be purely cosmetic, but I do agree that Warframe skins should be purely cosmetic, in order to encourage player individuality.
