Strategy Against.... The Stalker

so i just encountered him 3 times in a row today and defeated my proto excal twice and won by a rhino.....  BUT HE DROPPED DREAD AGAIN, anyway since he got fixed a few updates ago he's a lot stronger and i need some ideas on how to defeat him , share your tactics

Shotgun to face, Ogris to face, Dread to face, Paris to the face, brakk to the face, Grate prime stops him pretty well also....

Try blasting him in the face until he dies and don't get hit.

the don't get hit part is the main prob

Radiation + Magnetic damage, though really anything that deals a lot of damage will do.  Roll around so he misses his slash dashes and then shoot him :|

grate prime , the only thing that can bi*ch slap the stalker and defeat him and make him run back to his mom

Yeah, Stalker killed my Rhino Prime in a single attack. Granted, the Rhino Prime was only level 19, but still, I had max redirection and vigor. I forget the Vitality mod level I had on it, but it was a lower level one.

1st get yourself Boltor P

2nd aim at Stalker

3rd Profit!

Kill him before he stands up.

Cause when he does, you're dead

Offensively : Spot him first and unload your most powerful weapon on him.  If you got a ridiculously powerful weapon, he will dies where he spawned.

Defensively : Keep dashing in a circle, shooting him and keep breaking his line of sight.

 

If you're in a middle of large fire fight, retreat back to an empty room.

Having Enemy Radar/ Enemy Sense would help. He won't STAND a chance. xD

Basically right now the only real "strategy" (lol?) is to kill him before he stands up. Which means having a weapon big BIG burst damage. That's for solo play of course.^^

funny thing happened, maybe 1 in a thousand,
had stalker spawned, i kept my calm and stood my ground, waited for him to appear, when he did just took a few meters away from him, cast AMD, he shot his Dread, hit the AMD, then he dropped dead. but ofc i shot the AMD too.

but anyways, Keep Calm and Relax, maybe practice in conclave, but his moves are much more predictable.

I have killed him with an Oberon, with max vitality, no vigor, no redirection, i survived his attacks run like crazy while i shoot at him with a soma.

 

Regarding the old redirection vs vitality predicament

 

0 shields = not dead

 

0 health = dead

Just run and gun i guess.This is one terrible designed AI that only has overwhelming attacks.It has no strategy at all aside from debuff your iron skin,hysteria or teleport to you when you run.Only under-geared players would have a hard time against this thing. I always shot him dead before he has a chance to sit down and run

Go with clan/friends in missions. If your weapons are crap keep running around and let your squad handle him. But Galatine charge on him upon spawn is actually possible... Or anything really
