Duralumin
So ever since the start, DE have wanted Warframe to be a "story" that unfolds as time goes on, thanks to the community. I find that this doesn't seem fair to people who jumped on the train late, as they miss out on experiencing the events that shaped Warframe into what it is today, So why not make it so that people can replay certain story missions whenever they want? So new players don't have to feel like they missed out stuff? Like some kind of "historical reenactment" This would also be a god-send to completionists, as then they can try for the weapons/badges that blatantly out-class the regular versions. After reaching a certain mastery rank, people could attempt specific missions, or they could instead be made available by setting off certain "flags". As we all know though, the thresholds for getting items in these events were pretty easy. So they could simply be ramped up (based on the top player scores during the event's initial run time), which would make meeting them feel like slightly more of an achievement. Beware though! Once completed, these missions cannot be replayed for rewards (although they can be replayed for the sake of it)! Event Ideas Gradivus Dilemma Beating Sgt. Nef Anyo on Mars gives the player the option to enrol in the Gradivus Dilemma, and select the faction that they wish to support (if their faction does not win, then they receive nothing). The scores are tallied every week, the rewards are then sent out and scores are then reset. Once enrolled, the player will be entered into "next week's pool". So that players cannot simply enrol the day before completion if there's a reward that they like. Once their registered week is over, players would then be able to see invasions on other planets as well. Informant Event After reaching Phobos, the user can opt into the Informant Event. Once entered, they have X number of hours to kill as many Informants as possible. Meeting the thresholds will reward them with the Snipetron and Snipetron Vandal respectively (lore excuse can be an attempt at combining Grineer Materials with the Lanka, resulting in a small-scale particle accelerator or something). Regardless of the result, once the timer is over. The user will start seeing Regulators as normal enemies on Phobos. Fusion MOA Event Similar to the Informant Evenet, although the trigger is the completion of X number of Corpus missions. Afterwards, the user begins to see Fusion MOAs appear as regular enemies in the Corpus forces (prior to which there would've been none in any mission that this player was present in). Paradoxbomb
It would be nice if events and limited-time missions returned to the game as permanent campaign/quest nodes. I thought the Darvo alerts were some of the funnest missions in the game, and all they had to do was add a little commentary to already existing mission types. Not sure how people will feel about reintroducing event-exclusive rewards though. Personally I could care less but some people are bothered by it. Lady_Khaos
Reintroducing events as story missions is something I've been pushing for a long time. However, putting in the rewards not only removes the "limited edition" aspect of them, it makes their normal counterparts no longer worth making. Also, it adds a grind to the missions that removes the story telling value of said missions.
