So I Reached Lvl 30...

Recommended Posts

Right. So I'm obviously new, so don't go mad if I'm asking a question that's been asked a thousand times before... I reached lvl 30 on my frost frame but it still seems so weak compared to other peoples! So I'm guessing there is still stuff I can do other than working on other frames which I am atm, how do I keep improving?

If there is a link with all my answers on send it me!

Cheers for your time dudes!

You can add an orokin reactor (gold potato) to double mod capacity or add forma to a mod slot which halves its cost if the polarities are the same.

but using forma it will automatically reset the frame you used it on but the forma can only be used reached maxed level (lvl30)

2 things that can help make a 'frame (or weapon) more powerful:

1) Upgrade the mods that are on it (or get better/more relevant mods for it).

2) Forma it.

In case you didn't already know, when you add a Forma to an item, it lets you pick a "polarity" (such as V or --) to add to that item, so that any future mods you put in that polarity slot will be half the cost, thus allowing you to put more/better mods on that Warframe or weapon. It resets that Warframe or weapon back to level 0 though, but if you get it back to level 30, you can add ANOTHER Forma to it, and keep doing so until you have enough to put every max level mod that you want on your Warframe.   :)

So if you are comparing your level 30 Frost to other people's level 30 Frost, those are the 2 things that will make a big difference behind-the-scenes.

And a great resource for tons of details about everything Warframe is the wiki:

http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/WARFRAME_Wiki

Hope that helps!   :)

EDIT: Oops, and as others have said, you can add a "potato" to it as well, to double the mod capacity of the item!

LOL zero posts when I go to reply, now there are like half a dozen. Haha.

1st, you understand the point of reaching lvl 30 of the frame is to increase mod points?

2nd, Mod points are used for mods (which means get better, useful mods & rank them up & put them in your frames)

3rd, Each frame have several different builds depending on how & who plays them

4th, All of the above also applies to weapons & sentinels.

5th, double your mod points with orokin reactor for frames & orokin catalyst for weapons

6th, add more polarities for your frame/weapon with forma

(careful, using forma will return the frame/weapon you used it on back to unranked aka lvl 0)

for more info on mods, builds, etc, consult the wiki.

Frost is slightly different from what you may refer to as most warframes. Frost shines the most in MD or Def missions due to his Snow Globe. I have Frost Prime, twice forma'd. My main usage of my Frost Prime is for Def or MD missions against the grineers or corpus. Snow Globe is probably the most useful skill you can have for the best form of protection. For my Snow Globe build, I have Snow Globe(duh), Avalanche, Flow, Streamline, Overextend, Narrowminded, Stretch, Intensify, Steel Fiber and Redirection, with Energy Siphon for Aura. That pretty much maximises his Snow Globe potential, staying up for 60+ seconds and still doing some damage with his Avalanche. Frost might strike you as a weaker frame in comparison to the other destructive frames, but if you mod it well enough, it still can fight just as well. All about customization, fellow Tenno.

Another suggestion might be, after you've leveled a few mods to make yourself more durable, take a look at the other frames in the codex, or look around the wiki or forums to see which frame you want to get next. Then determine where that frame's parts drop (which boss on which planet) and farm away! During all that farming, you'll most undoubtedly run into other rare mod drops (from the boss), and score plenty more cores and other mod fusion fodder to aid in the advancement of your mod pool.

Thanks for all the info guys!! Massive help, I do understand that mod point are for mods and how to use cores and duplicates to make the mods stronger eat it's was all this forma stuff that I didn't get :,)

Everyone else has given you most of the information, but what is your mod loadout? It might be inefficient.

I'm running

Avalanche, snow globe, constitution, vitality, fast deflection, redirection, quick rest, intensify, ice wave and freeze :) I have them all in their corresponding slots :)

Well while I have your attention, what's the aura slot for? How does that make a different affect to the frame than normal mods?

Thanks again guys this has been a massive help! :)))))

Well, to be fair other frames are stronger because frost is just so underwhelming.

You leave me and my frost alone you :,)

Auras are specials Mods, that gives you more Mod capacity, instead of taking it.

Example : Your Frost has 30 mod capacity, you put a Maxed out Rejuvenation aura and your frost will have 44 points available. (Polarity affects Auras too, If the polarity match it will give you double the amount, if the polarity dont macht it will give you less)

You can get them as Rewards in Alert Missions.

Try to complete the starchart to have more Alerts available.

Ps.: All auras in warframe can be found here : http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Aura

Have Fun Tenno !
