Do you think that if Apple announces a new product, and misses the release date, they get to push it back a week and give everyone who pre-ordered it free iWatches?

Do you think that Microsoft and/or Sony misses a release date they get to push it back and give everyone free limited edition controllers who pre-ordered it?

No.

They don't.

I agree 100% percent with "Make the update good so there is no major bugs that we end up being stuck with"

I also agree with "DE is a great company"

All of these are great points.

But one flaw.

You have had 2 months.

You have said its close, then pushed it back. And again, and again.

You make a hype website to get the hype levels through the roof. Then to say "Its not ready?" You should have planned accordingly. Don't make a hype website and then have it pushed back a whole week.

If the facts that I have found are wrong, and the timer is actually hours, then that's fine.

I may not have all my facts above 100% actual confirmed facts, but I know for sure that this is utter bullS#&$.

I know many people; including myself, who have taken School/Work off to hardcore play U13 all day.

I'm sorry DE, just plan your updates better and don't cause a massive hype train and push it back a week. And don't expect that 3 GOTL are going to make up for it. Especially Forma, I got way to many of those things.

And the worst thing is, I could never force myself to Uninstall.exe

I think it's unreasonable to compare Digital Extremes to the giant that is Apple, Sony or Microsoft.

Well not specifically Apple but its just an Analogy. Any company  shouldn't plan something like this and push it back, no matter what industry.

It's more of an exaggeration than an analogy. That being said, many companies have the product finished/ready months in advance. Digital Extremes doesn't have that privilege with their content release schedule.

I'm going to lock this thread now to prevent backlash.
