DivisionByZero
^ Title says it all. This is easily tested with a Viper or Furis. Equip it and test the spread (just hold down the left mouse button) while not zoomed in. The resulting spread should be nearly evenly distributed in a circle, with no discernible recoil. Now zoom in and test again. The recoil should now be very noticeable. ------------------- Zooming in decreases non-hitscan projectile speed. To test this: Test it with a bow or something thrown like Kunai, Despair, or Hikou. These are perfect for testing this because the projectiles arc (gravity has an effect on them). Find a distant wall in-game. Push the left mouse button once, note where the resulting projectile collides with the wall. Now repeat this while zoomed-in. The projectile collides with the wall significantly lower. This is also easily verified when using the Despair or Kunai while zooming in - you should notice that you have to aim ahead significantly more. egregiousRac
Recoil Issue: Dex Furis - No difference Twin Wraith Vipers - No difference Projectile Speed Issue: Torid - No difference Dread - No difference Despair - No difference Sorry OP, can't reproduce either issue at all. I was playing solo, so it could possibly be an issue with clients. Edited April 2, 2014 by egregiousRac
Demon_Mask
i have actually noticed this with my dread for a few weeks now, and i just thought i must have believed it was faster and it was always this slow, but no. i really notice it when zooming in after having my suspicions confirmed. its been a few weeks for me.
