Oxium Osprey Spawns Bugged?

Its the only conclusion i can come to. I'm flat out seeing one spawn every 4 to 5 mins, be it on xini, mimas etc.). Kappa the the fabled farming area for pc oxium, doesnt even spawn oxium ospreys at all on ps4, sad :( Ive heard numerous others detail similiar issues on ps4, is DE aware of this?

Questions: Are you playing Solo or with other people. If solo I have no idea and you're just unlucky. If you're playing with other people chances are they are killing them or the ospreys are self destructing before you get a chance to kill them. I usually farm mimas and I usually see a pair every 2-3 minutes.

i usually do them solo, however i do sometimes team up with friends in my clan to see if there is a difference in spawn rate. I am also quite aware they self destruct, its more the fact that they are a rare appearance. I'm just not yielding the same amount of oxium as the pc warframe players i see on youtube, or hear about in the forums. On kappa for example many pc players say they can get 50 plus oxium a run, me so far 0 per run, and ive run it 3 times with no oxium osprey in sight.

OP: The spawns for these things are low, intentionally or bugged, I don't know. I would suggest, and this might have been DE's intention, but buy the resource booster. It doubles the amount of Oxium you pick up. Xini is the defense right? Go there, do up to wave 20-25. With the booster you'll pick up between 30-40 if you're lucky. 

 

Mimas... I was farming there but my game would crash nearly every time I play there.

Spawn is not bugged. They are in general rare spawns. Playing defense or survival missions will get you the best chances. Playing with more people will increase the amount of enemies spawning for each wave, which indirectly increases your chances as well.

them not existing in Kappa is a known bug on PS4 since the Oxium was first introduced. There's even a post of a mod saying he'll let the devs know... guess nobody cared to fix it.

played 30 minutes on Mimas 3 times last night.

19 Oxium,

54 Oxium,

33 Oxium,

I was playing with only a two man squad all three games. They really don't start showing up in numbers until 20+ minutes.

Xini is okay for spawns but I have had too many drops fall off the ledge into the nothingness. Mimas is by far the best place for me on PS4.

On defence missions they don't spawn on first 4 waves. After that - about 1 per wave.

And Kappa is broken.

PS4 is not equal to PC, Mimas is the most famous place for farming ox
