SuperShifty Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 After my game decides to randomly CTD I try to restart it and continue playing just as I always have but it freezes on "checking for updates" in the Launcher. Strangely enough if I completely close out of Steam and then try to restart Steam I can't get that to open either so it's hard to pin this on Warframe alone although everything works fine until this game crashes. The only fix I have for this is completely rebooting my computer but I decided after the 3rd reboot that this is getting a little ridiculous... This ONLY occurs after the game crashes which is why I posted in the 'Performance' section.
suadumpy Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 (edited) Well, for me, I went : "Right Click Warframe Desktop Icon">"Properties">"Compatibility">"Privilege Level">"Check 'Run this program as an administrator'" Launcher and the Game worked perfectly fine after I turned this on.
