Last night I was in a high level Grineer alert mission (It was a level 35+ Rescue mission with good credits payout).

 

Everything was going well, managed to rescue the hostage.. blah blah blah

 

Until the Gustrag 3 showed up...

 

Two of my teammates were immediately downed and had that Gustrag Arrow net thingy over them while they bled out. They were the Rhino and Zephyr players.

 

The third guy is new to Warframe so he was screaming like a baby over the mic (He was Loki) and went invisible (presumably into hiding).

 

So, I rhino stomped the first of the G3, and switched out to my twice forma'd Detron (nice thing to have lying around). I emptied a whole clip into it. He still wasn't dead, so I stomped again and finished him off with another round of Detron.

 

The second dude showed up. Again same thing, Stomp and shoot. The third dude however like to swing his hammer thingy. And in that moment when the 3rd dude showed up, my newbie buddy invisibility ran out. The 3rd dude started to chase Loki around and pounded him with a hammer (well, he struck the newbie once with it). Newbie is also down.

 

Luckily for me, I got my stomp up and running again (thanks to 2 energy siphons). And proceed to finish off the third member of the Gustrag 3.

 

So, as I was running towards extraction, I saw the other 3 players limping slowly forward. I guess all 3 of them got hit with the bolt.

 

I pity the newbie who doesn't even have an Oxium to his name, having a bolted frame.

 

But that, my friends, was EPIC.

 

A Rhino Prime totally pawns G3.

Epic moments? Lemme think...

Fighting Captain Vor during the time when his level scaled to the 100s with player equipment. It was truly an intense battle! He just won't die. We had to expend all our efforts to beat him, reviving each other in the process. No wonder he is loved by... You know who.

Fighting the Stalker in a defence mission, with pre-leveled equipment and a pretty low-leveled frame. Such an adrenaline rush :D but before I killed him, the mission rewards screen popped up. So he ran up to me to deal the final blow...! Only to get vaporized by my Dethcube.

My first time fighting the Hyena pack. Gosh, I have never been pushed into such a corner in such a long time... Kudos to DE to have made such an awesome boss that is hard to fight :D

Sure I got an epic moment.

 

Was doing a typical Invasion against Grineer. Was using Nova because I had a feeling the G3 would appear. Lo and behold, they did. My plan was - as soon as the lights flickered, I'd wormhole up to a safe spot and get ready to Prime em, and then Anti Drop em into oblivion. Of course...it didn't go that way.

 

My team got attacked in a relatively small room. I had nowhere to go, and as soon as they spawned I got shot. Poor Nova's armor is paper, so I was down. Another teammate went down very shortly after. One of the G3 was walking over to me, but I luckily had my Detron and was able to stagger him enough to where he died before he could get to me. Of course I bled out, but whee dem revives~

 

I got up, and got instantly knocked down again. Luckily another teammate was able to revive, and I quickly ran behind cover, MP'd, and with the help of the person who revived me, we took down the last two. Was pretty epic imo. One of our team got captured but we were able to save him after the G3 were finished.

 

This was the first time I ever fought them. I had noooo idea they'd be that tough. Next time I go hunting for G3, I'm taking my Valkyr so I can survive and revive teammates.

I also had an epic moment, at least from the adrenaline it released. I was alone with a random dude in an invasion mission, just doing my thing and slaying corpus when suddenly the light flickered and zanuka appeared.

I tried my best to keep desperately dodging and after a fight of surely 20 min, i had finally killed it together with my random mate.

It is incredible how much it hypes when such moments appear...but i was also pretty pissed since we both had like no grineer nearby who tried to help us.

Hmm for it must have been farming for keys and XP on Nuovo i had a low level Boltor Prime and a decent lvl castina(i think i misspelled it).

So i had been farming for the G3 for days so i gave up and decide to lvl weapons and get keys so i enter the mission about 4 mins in i was surround by grinner and got pulled by the scorpion(hate her so much). As luck would have it i got pulled in right next to a Arc trap which bring my sheilds down and knocks my heath to 20, i remember thinking i am soo glad the G3 aren't coming then Locus transmission started to get staticy then who pops out the Brakking G3. So i was like i'm dead so ime going to die fighting so i turn invisible and started twirling around with my Jat Kit and i killed all three of them. I was like yay then i found out i got no Brakk part.

 

Oh also i was on earth interception mission lights started flickering and im like noo the stalker he appeared then he died after a few kunai to the face. Not epic but i remember a time when he was feared and only to die that quick is pretty funny.

Most epic moment... hmm.

 

I'd have to say way back when the Stalker was actually pretty nasty. I had my Furax's and my Rhino, as I was taking a few newbies from my old clan through some missions.

 

Lights flicker, Stalker pops up. Newbies start screaming, I pop Iron Skin and proceed to pummel Stalker into the floor whilst they stood by and watched. I gained a fair bit of respect from the newbies after that one.

It's also a failure, but still epic nonetheless.

Epic?  When the Stalker first got his item drops (and was fairly difficult) ended up seeing messages from him and the blinking lights, on a corpus level, while leveling up all new weapons, on mid level frame....

 

So, I pretty much didn't have a chance at all, what the heck was I going to do?

 

I pretty much went to the center of one of the corridor rooms, and waited for him to spawn, ran like crazy out the door.... and shoot out the windows behind me. > : )

 

After a few minutes, the Stalker said some very bad nasty words to me as he suffocated and teleported away.  But he left his Despair behind (or maybe it was Hate, it was a long time ago).   Was high as a kite from doing that.

The other epic one was fighting against the G3... in a nightmare level, with a random group, on a timer limit level.  Thank heavens we had energy and our powers, but, no shields.  Got rid of them eventually, since we all had our uber weapons, and two of them was rhinos, but it was very touch and go there, the whole thing lasted about 5 minutes.  With all that so people going down, constantly, rezzing people as zephyr, it was nuts, but don't recall all the deals of it though, since this happen 3 other times, and the last two got caught by them rather easily.

Running the Hyena pack with no mods and a bleeding key on was pretty intense.
Same thing with Lephantis, save for a hobbled key.

My most epic moment was when i thought DE not releasing U13 would be the best april fools joke ever.

1. Casually running a solo mission with a half ranked Karak (no potato), Sicarus (no potato, and the element damage on it was ice), and some melee. This was before melee 2.0. I used all the ammo on the Karak and one of them didn't even go down, so I switched to my Sicarus and slowly picked them off while running circles around the map and running up and down to different floors trying to survive. ( This was a Grineer map with the two elevators  and the carts, and it's sometimes the map you spawn in at the beginning of the game)

 

2. Decided to go to test something without having a primary equipped toady. My shields were halved because there was ice in the level. I jumped down the chute in the Grineer Galleon map, and after killing two Grinneers and opening some lockers, the G3 spawned. Since I haven't got all my scans yet, I try to scan them first, which makes me take some damage. At one point I was down to 8 hp, and my sentinel wasn't filling up my shield. I drop a few health items and cast Shield Polarize. I finished scanning them before I take out my Brakk from the event and kill one. Then one of them says, "That one will be hard to replace." I go after the one with the shield next. After taking some shots, I run behind cover to reload. When I come back out, they were gone. I'm not sure what happened there. I only remember killing one of the three.

Left alone in a high defense mission in Ceres with a valkyr using only a nikana due to host problems.

 

Go hysteria you say?

 

Prosecutors by the dozens, hysteria is rendered useless. enemies resistant to melee attacks with no elementals

 

I went full melee and died a couple of times with 4 more waves coming my way.

 

Each wave was like hell and lasted for 25 mins each as I slowly prick away from the Hp pools of the Prosecutors

 

Cryo pod HP went as low as 25 which got my heart pumping and my adrenaline rushed

 

i open all my health restore and my energy restore and slashed the prosecutors with a combination of paralysis and stab combos

 

they died and 3 more prosecutors showed up followed by heavy gunners. I was helpless and tried to block all incoming fire as the cryo pod recharge for shields and health.

 

My fingers stared to hurt as i press "E" again and again for the entire defense

 

Prosecutors died along with my carrier sentinel, now i have no guardian mod to help me or to pick up orbs

 

Rollers appeared 3 waves before extraction and started to chip away at the pod. I ground slammed them before the persecutors arrive, 1 roller survived and was now invulnerable to my attacks. I went hysteria and hoped that crits still affect it. it does and the roller died along with me since I was being swarmed. I resurrected using my last revive and defended the cryo pod fanatically as it reaches below 100 health again

 

Got fatally wounded a couple of times but manage to escape by going hysteria and tried to recover my health but it was futile due to the presence of the prosecutors. hysteria was doing 33 damage with crits. wave ended with me having 120 health and 420 shields. I decided to fight for one last push and give it my all.

 

last wave, my fingers are really swore. As the final wave approached 3 prosecutors approached me followed by a swarm of grineer grunts and shield lancers. i killed off the prosecutors but the lancers were bashing me left to right. I manage to take em down before another prosecutor arrived. i looked at my radar and saw the ocean of red triangles going to my direction and decided to go hysteria one last time. I flanked them sacrificing some of the pod's health. I bailed towards the pod as it reached 200 health. i defended it and killed the prosecutor in  the process.

 

25 health with full shields was left of me, thinking one bleed proc could end my life i searched for the last remaining enemy. it was a roller under the stairs... stuck... with one giant slam attack from my nikana it ended the vile creatures life and gave me my freedom and the way to the Ceres dark sector.

I was leveling my brand new Pangolin sword on Tikal, the Dark Sector Survival on Earth, right after U13 came out. I managed to get it from 0-30 in one night there doing solo melee only runs. I was still getting used to the new melee system, and had just found the Iron Phoenix stance.

 

After having done several runs with the sword, I was really starting to feel close to it, and had gotten the timing on the combos down perfectly. I was getting kind of sad that I was planning on selling it after I got it to 30. But at least I got the absolute perfect final hit to get it there before I did.

 

Everything lined up perfectly. I was fighting a Caustic Eximus Ancient, and the killing blow on it was the final slam hit of the taking flight combo. This hit was also what got the sword to rank 30, and I got the sword mastery achievement for it at the same time. All this happened right at the 15 minute mark of the mission, and I swear the game went into slow motion for a second too.

 

Watching the rank 30 popup, the in game and Steam achievement popups, and the wave reward all appear right as I killed a powerful enemy with a super flashy attack was just perfect. I feel like that sword and I got everything we needed out of our brief relationship, all because of that one final, perfect moment together.

Funny thing you mention rhino as g3 killer, which leads me into one of my epic moments:

 

Still lazy to set up a team for the g3 at the time, i decide to grab my nekros to invasions against corpus.

 

Willing not to give it so easy should they hunt specifically for me i equip quick thinking, rage, vitality, streamline, fleeting and flow.

 

All set up i end up in this match with three rhinos, 2 were primes.

 

I though 'heh, if the g3 spawn they will have a hard time hitting anything.'

 

Lights flicker, rhinos stomp.

 

With my trusty flux rifle I kill the first.

 

Probably due to an adrenaline rush the rhinos all forget to stomp again and focus on shooting, the second this happens all 3 of them die at the same time and i get to the infamous 2 hp of QT and now stagger at every hit, meaning my energy serves as hp. I drop two e-restore.

 

Quickly i proceed to summon my shadows, and just as quickly get rid of the other two who are too distracted chasing ghosts.

 

I had enough time to desecrate all of them, get a bp and a barrel out of it AND revive ALL of my teammates.

 

They were astonished.
