SeargantHaztagazpacho Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Since mods for weapons can be physical, in the sense that you can modify the barrel of a gun, or it's magwell or whatever you want to improve it, lets talk about frame mods. Assuming they are plugged in, as are Forma, how big would they be? Coin sized or watch battery size? Would catalysts and reactors be cashew sized? Or smaller? Discuss .
Cemges Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Think of a part of plutonium in size of a single rice
-Mandachordian-Tenno- Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 its a female warframes secret.... teehee.
Renathy Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 The Codex shows mods as really big, but I'm willing to believe they're relatively small, which maybe could fit in a hand.
NjaII Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 (edited) This is how big I think a catalyst or reactor is : It's a pacemaker by the way. Edited April 3, 2014 by NjaII
Pokolon Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 sim card sized? We need a banana for scale here guys..
Ammolds Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 (edited) I can't find a single image from before Mods 2.0, but back in those days the mods displayed on your warframe and gear as a small light-blue light. Now if someone could pull up an image.... Edited April 3, 2014 by Ammolds
shayvidas Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 never worked this hard for a reply bfore.. but hope this answers your question ...
Renathy Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Now if someone could pull up an image.... Sorry but with my work's ISP and pre-historic computers, I cannot find a suitable image, but I do know what you're talking about. They're about the size of a rubber.
MegpoidKP Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 So everyone has been shoving that thing into a Tysis's butt?
Ritchel Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 i imagine it as, as large as a potato and it used to be somekind of battery of somesort to supercharge stuff, you see theres the word, supercharge i think d.e. lets us think for ourselves and fantasize about how they work and stuff....
Skynin Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Catalyst should be small to be placed in the weapons (if that's how do they work)Probably this: This is how big I think a catalyst or reactor is : It's a pacemaker by the way. But Reactor can be larger
RoboDoge Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I think it is big enough for us to insert them into their special slots. Special slots at Uranus.
Mak_Gohae Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 The codex has a pic of a mod, they are freaking huge. I dont actually know where we put them. The Warframes must have some dimensional pockets to hide them.
faustias Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 the fusion core/mod core, those things we loot for the same item, is a container. The mod is an energy of data transferred to the weapons/warframe.
Rawnrawn Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 They are as big as they appear in missions, how do we pick them up you ask? Well, ask yourself how we absorb capture targets into our suits, it oughta be the same way, we must have some microuniverse of data storage within our warframes that is our entire arsenal page. Perhaps we physically alter our weapons by holding them in our hands and letting the mods we want for them flow through our body into our tools.
(PSN)JustTooDank Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 (edited) Reactor about the size of those diabetic insulin pumps Catalyst about the size of a .50 BMG round Frame mods are injections Weapon mods depend on the weapon. Edited April 3, 2014 by (PS4)JustTooDank
Ghostar Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I figured things like Mods or Potatoes were large in size, but transformed into energy and integrated into your warframe. (Kind of like how Samus's suit is made of energy and appears around her.)
