HansJurgen
Just as the title says, I'm very disappointed in a lot of the Warframe playerbase right now. Yesterday's griping just made me stay away from this game for the day. Anyways, needed to get that off my chest. Hats off to you sir +
Dark5eiD
And I always get disgusted at people who throw around the word "entitled" about video games. As if the devs were some kind of deity and we should be grateful for any little scrap they toss our way. Newsflash kid: the video game industry right now is in every way a buyer's market. The devs should be happy for any scrap of money that gets tossed their way from us, because there's literally a billion other games available for us to toss our money at. right. but that doesnt give anyone the right to be an a-hole at the people who are trying to make the game better for all of us
HansJurgen
Complaining about people complaining won't get you anywhere. So, to you, expressing disappointment in regards to crass, nonconstructive and immature behavior is synonymous to complaining? GG, was close, no re. Un1337ninj4
And have you seen the faces every Devstream that they mention M 2.0?? They grimace! They know we want it, they know it's currently not up to par, (though very close), let them take their time! :D Edited April 3, 2014 by un1337ninj4

The devs should be happy for any scrap of money that gets tossed their way from us, because there's literally a billion other games available for us to toss our money at. So yeah, if you want to use that word, we have every right to be entitled. I'll be the first to admit, I'm a fairly fickle fan. I have very little patience for a video game that doesn't offer me what I'm looking for. Why? Because, as I just said, there's literally a billion other options. If I uninstall this game tomorrow, I still have more fun video games available to me than I'll be able to play in my lifetime. Deal with it. Exactly, I've played in a few betas and always there's this same vaguely cult-like sense that we should all be so pathetically grateful for what ever largesse the developers see firto grant us that all we do is abase ourselves worm-like before them in wrenched humility, daring not to question. What utter drivel, theirs a million other games out there, some of which are even out of beta, all desperately vying for your attention, its the Devs who need to be grateful to us for being here. I'm not annoyed at the melee 2.0 or update 13 delays. I'm annoyed about the asinine way it was communicated, and the way this holiest of holy updates had all other revisions or modifications to the code base sacrificed upon its alter while we face an ever extended wait. Herbaderbalist
right. but that doesnt give anyone the right to be an a-hole at the people who are trying to make the game better for all of us ^ Basically the sum of what I was going to reply to him. Also, I'd like to further add that while DE has made mistakes in the past, they've fixed the majority of them. And bent over backwards to apologize/make up for those mistakes. And to further the "vet" comments... People who have been playing this game since the beginning knows how much this game has improved. This game has transformed into something totally different than what it once was... in the most amazing way possible. When DE released rushed content before, people complained the game was too buggy and got flamed over that. Now they're trying to make everything right, and everyone is flaming over that too. Wiegraf
I was hype for yesterday's update but when I heard it was delayed, I just went on my day and continued to cheer for the Warframe vs Mabinogi duel instead. Find something to do in the meantime; it'll come and since it's big, you can bet they want to make sure it doesn't come in broken. Thus, if they found something that worried them enough to push back the update, then for the better. It'll give them time to fix that and hopefully stumble over a few issues they would have missed originally as well.
-InV-Skitz0
I may not have raged yesterday but still I believe that DE should have handled it way better than they did. They put the counter up and waited 2 hours before they announced anything. The least they could have done is actually communicated with their player base properly and stated in a news post before the counter went up "Hey there's an issue and we're having to delay the patch, sorry guys!" Thats the only thing I'm disappointed in DE for: their lack of communication over the error. I have to agree, I spent 2 hours speculating myself. I even raged a little inside till i knew the patch simply wasn't ready yet. I however had the decency to refrain sharing my woes in a *@##$ing manner. but the sheer number of rage post was astronomical last night, on one hand your kind of proud to have a community that cares enough to get so butt hurt and on the other your literately disgusted for their general lack of respect for our developers who made the game we all love so much. That being said everyone must keep in mind that mistakes will happen in life. DE is not perfect and will occasionally have a hiccup here or there, as beta testers it's are job to give constructive feedback to them, (hopefully in a very respectful manor). Sadly i see straight up criticism and bashing of not only developers but the fan base as well on a daily basis. IE i upload a game-play video set to music, i then receive 50 comments of how its utter crap/ wasted 3 mns of their life etc etc. Constructive feedback goes a long way in life why not try to help better someone or something then turn your nose up and let the hate flow. DocHolliday13
right. but that doesnt give anyone the right to be an a-hole at the people who are trying to make the game better for all of us Yeah, but only because we have that right regardless. And in return, they have the right to get rid of anyone whom they feel is sufficiently problematic to be more trouble than worth. But they don't need players getting butthurt over other players complaining about a promised update being delayed yet again. They can fight their own battles, they don't need some brown-noser white-knighting for them.
Mastikator2
Complaining about people complaining won't get you anywhere. People were disappointed because this update is gonna be huge. Melee 2.0 New Vay Hek Killerkarpfen frame And katana. We were expecting yesterday because all the transmissions only add up till that day. Honestly I ain't even mad. Edit: Also, try to remember how U11,U12 was. A new frame and weapon just like every other update. But this update we are getting so many things like I listed above. A transmission from Hek a few weeks ago, Melee 2.0 trailer teased a few days ago, a propaganda at the official website that showed what we'd be getting slowly. All to make us hyped. U13 is the updates of updates. But as long as DE found bugs and what not, make finishing touches I won't rant. The lesson learned is to treat players like mushrooms, keep em in the dark and feed them the brown stuff. If they don't say what the next update or patch will contain then everyone will be pleasantly surprised, instead of building up hopes and then crushing those hopes (though, building hopes only to destroy hopes is pretty fun)
Ryme
I was not upset because I was not aware of the hype. This is why you should all stay uninformed and have low expectations. Remember, "ignorance is bliss."
Nurmetya
I'm a little let down that it didn't go through yesterday but I'm also someone who believes in quality over quantity. I've said it before the more work that gets put in to an update the better and I'd rather send in a bug report containing a list of smaller bugs and glitches then receive an unrecognizable lump of code only vaguely resembling a finished product filled with errors and game breaking bugs. What utter drivel, theirs a million other games out there, some of which are even out of beta, all desperately vying for your attention, its the Devs who need to be grateful to us for being here. And haven't they proven how grateful they are? Do you know how much content and vast improvements they've made to this game since they started? Do you know all the things they've gone through to make this what it is already? They have had to deal with rapid internal expansion in their studio, Making a connection with Sony, and many other things. All in under a year. Not only have they had to react to an explosion of their playerbase and internal studio, they've been converting things to PS4, CONSTANTLY working on new content for us, and having to apologize for things they didn't expect. Yes, the Dev's need us.. but give them some credit. They're not a huge studio that has absurd amounts of money to dump into fixing problems. They have gone above and beyond my expectations. They do it better than the majority of major studios.. and if people took the time to realize just what DE is... they'd see that it hasn't been easy for them either. They're one of the few smaller studios out there, competing with multi-billion dollar studios.
FierceRadiance
What really disappoints me is the vast number of people who feel that their "right" to bash DE is what's most important. "DE wants to hear our opinions" is the cry I read most often. Yes, that's technically true. But really, did everyone on the forums need to hear you make the obvious points -delay disappoints us, and DE should have communicated bettter- ONE MORE TIME? Because the world needed to hear YOU say it? Really? When you get stuck at all the lights on the way into work (you do work, right?) do you roll down the windows and call out your frustration to the other drivers sitting there with you, because they need to hear YOU say it? When the wrong guy gets elected, or the wrong bill becomes law, do you run to a public square and start ranting to everyone who happens to be there, because they need to hear your frustrations? Please, treat this public space like you would in real life, and act like a mature person. We all feel those same frustrations. Some choose to rise above them, and 'be grateful for what we have, not ungrateful for what we don't have', but every single one of us feels the same emotions you're feeling. Most of us just choose not to inflict our feelings on those around us - just like you do out in the real world. Rise above, don't wallow in. (PSN)Pengu_Imperialus
I think from now on we can blame any delays on me. We just make up overly elaborate stories about how I may have snuck into DE and saw all this beautiful code laying around, and just maybe through a series of accidents involving a dog I was supposed to be watching, a french chef carrying a wedding cake, and a freshly waxed floor it all got messed up. I am not saying I got cake all over the new update, I am just saying it's a definite possibility.

Shailocke
A big problem is that a lot of people don't understand how software development works and that it's incredibly easy for game-breaking bugs to occur right before launch. As far as DE is concerned they probably thought that they could release it on the same day as the last transmission, but an unexpected bug delayed them. However, I still think that they should have saved for the hype for when the update was 100% ready-to-go and just sit on the finished patch for a week.
