DocHolliday13
And haven't they proven how grateful they are? No, not really. They haven't done anything more for me than any of a hundred other F2P devs whose games I've played. In some cases, they've done considerably less, despite the fact that I've given them considerably more money. When you get stuck at all the lights on the way into work (you do work, right?) do you roll down the windows and call out your frustration to the other drivers sitting there with you, because they need to hear YOU say it? When the wrong guy gets elected, or the wrong bill becomes law, do you run to a public square and start ranting to everyone who happens to be there, because they need to hear your frustrations? This, however, is about video games, not any of those other things. If you don't like people complaining, you're free to leave. And guess what? If you don't come to the forums, you don't see any of the complaining at all!
Dogoframe
The problem is that this game have a lot of children (18-) playing. Some of them have no clue. Sorry Rex-Sol, I stopped reading right here to comment. Any game developer knows the amount of younger folks playing their games. Marketing (everyone`s, not only DE`s) even uses that to their advantage with "impulse buys". An example is WF`s ingame shop, anyone who works for their money is outraged with the prices, 150 + plat for a weapon is the essence of impulse buying. But I digress... Saying that the S#&$storm and censoring that followed was unexpected is really naive. Not to mention that whoever decided to allow the Art Team time to come up with the countdownception should have authority enough to decide to inform players thru words, instead of a graphical slap to their faces. They chose poorly. And the environment in DE should be pretty bad now, given the "deal with it" the playerbase got from DE REbecca. Again DE showed that while they make some nice games, they cant make decisions. Someone (or a group of people) ordered that countdownception to the Art Team. That someone or group of someones also realised the Update wouldnt be ready in time. THat same group had the choice to come forward and, as was said in DE`s reply, ask for a little trust in the Devs. Giving people a new countdown after your failed countdown and not say anything about it, and when you do, you only comment on a 150+ hype threasd that was impossible to read for the last days? I am not even talking about U13 here, but I will go as far as saying that this was the S#&$tiest decision DE made yet. It doesnt even look like a decision, or design at all. HansJurgen
you may call it brown nosing if you want. i unlike you will not get upset about it nor will i scream and yell every time i feel the slightest bit of disappointment in life let alone a video game. like i previously said you should be upset..its how some handled it thats distasteful. +1 He seems to be enjoying getting mad at video games quite a bit. Arlayn
I am abit disappointed... but we have to remember the blame, and fault is on all of us for complaining that DE needs to take its time and release better quality updates with less bugs. You may not admit to it now, but you know you were one of them. Always complaining this is bugged, that is bugged, DE UPLOAD QUALITY UPDATES!!! BLAH BLAH BLAH.... This DE doing exactly that. If DE feels its not up to par yet then I will trust in their better judgment and wait. (although personally I REALLY didn't care about the quality part)
sedu13
What disgusts me is people who don't see how poorly DE handled things yesterday and convinently forget that this is DE's job and they're being disrespectful with their fanbase and custumers. Warframe is their product, if there is going to be a delay they should at least announce it properly. Sure, some people only care about "Mah game isnt updated whaaaaa", but to me, this is a problem about DE's integrity as a company. DoomFruit
But you it's pretty hard to keep smiling when you were promised the most delicious looking cookies, then says "sorry, next week". I myself am fine with this situation, but keep in mind, it's DE's own fault there was retaliation. I think of it more like them going "sorry, next week - we just found out that the halogen lamps in our oven sprung a leak and that this batch of cookies tastes like iodine and tungsten. [DE]Rebecca is currently lying on top of a pile of Medium Team Health Restores and is expected to make a full recovery in a fortnight's time". We might not like waiting (I personally don't care), but I think it's safe to assume that we *hate* bugs. Squash the bugs first. Fix the imbalances. Get the animations polished. Far better to wait another month than to get something broken (I learned this very early on in my Planetside 2 days).

I just get so tired of twats constantly throwing around the word "entitled" or "entitlement" every time someone says anything the least bit negative about some video game whose devs they'd like to have a love-child with. For someone who does not care, you sure take your time getting all up in arms over spilled milk. Have you uninstalled, yet? Happy trails! Barbetti
What "entitlement"? The Grineer Systems page fueled hype leading to an expected 4/2 release of Update 13. It was SUPPOSED to release yesterday until DE delayed it until next Wednesday for whatever reasons they felt it was necessary. Up until that point, the "hype train" was literally at full-speed until it hit the metaphorical wall that was the delay. People are allowed to get upset, especially over something like this. It's better for them to vent than to keep it in. Give it a few days, everything will be just fine.

Doc, going strictly by the comments you posted in this thread, I think the rest of can see pretty clearly why you keep hearing the term 'entitled' thrown around your threads. Oh, and you mentioned your money ~ do you actually contribute to those games monetarily, and support them with more than just your enlightened wisdom (oh, and 'possible solutions')? If so, do you contribute serious ching, or just five bucks here an there? And do you spread it around, or just bless one or two games which happen to meet your lofty standards? Or...mmm....do you just leech?
HansJurgen
It wasn't the fact that it's delayed, it's the fact that it was delayed AFTER they built hype and we were just left to find out when it was time. You don't find out your product is delayed at the last second, there would have been sign of it days ahead, long enough time to add more boxes to the site and fill it with screenshots or something, or just a news post about the delay. But the way it was handled was insulting, it felt like a big "fuk yuo here more wait". Stop acting like you were an actual 12 yo. It is just a game. How about you go outside, sometime? It will help you be less frustrated about peanuts, you may even make some friends. Who knows, maybe even get a girl to finally like you, so that your life won't revolve around warframe patches as if life itself depended on it. It also cures acne and makes you less annoying and despicable.

Stop being such a see you on Tuesday. Define integrity. I am just messing, you would need to know what it means, first. If they say on a livestream a change is coming late February, then early March, then late March, then somewhere in U12, then they release a pretty obvious countdown to U13 and Megan herself states that the update was planned for yesterday, then they indeed gave out release dates that they didn't meet, http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/integrity "1.adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty." Building antecipation to a product, failing to deliver said product in the planned date, not aknowledging the problem until 2 hours later and avoiding revealing the exact reason of why it was delayed is indeed a questionable thing, shows DE doesn't respect the very people who pay their bills. I meanm you're an employed grown up, right? You know how things work in real life, don't you? EDIT: Damn , how do I correct the font color? victor_victory
The reason behind this situation is that some players are forcing their own expectation into DE while overlooking the fact that DE is just a ordinary developer that will make mistake. This is why there is excessive rage roaming around the forum, they expect DE to handle U13 perfectly but forget there is chance that they will screw up. The higher the expectation , the higher the disappointment. The higher the disappointment, the higher the rage.

Motakshi
How long has Melee 2.0 been talked about? Imagine waiting a month to watch a movie. You get there the night of the premier, you sit down and get ready to watch your movie, and you get a short trailer, a halfassed apology, and are told to come back next week. Any anger is understandable, calling it entitlement is just an insult. I'm not about to uninstall over a week delay, but this isn't a good move on DE's part. A company isn't entitled to customers either.
