Years ago, when the Tenno first started the journey to the stars and the farthest reaches of the galaxy

Vay Hek plotted to use the Fusion Cores for unknown purposes. only one Tenno knows of this, Hayden.

while on there journey, the Tenno suffered a loss from Fusion Cores

Vay Hek.

the reason of the loss

us, the Tenno. we fought bravely, valiantly, endured the grineer's endless attacks

to Find the last of the Fusion cores destroy Vay Heks plans and restore balance to the galaxy.

little is known of the Tenno who knew the plan...

Hayden, he is said to stalk the galaxy, but who? or what, could he be?

Nope, just RNG being a cruel mistress.

Nerfed means reduced, not removed.

nerfed means that a chara or weapon was reduced so much that when you us it, its like a nerf gun so if this was nerfed then that means this was "nerfed" then it wouldnt spawn because its not a chara or a weapon

Yes, the word nerf comes from nerf guns, but no, It does not have to be that drastic, the word nerf is used to refer to ANY reduction in stats.

That's the origin of the word in this regard.  However, it is applied to everything these days, and it just means some value was reduced.  Enemies get nerfed, spawn rates get nerfed, weapons get nerfed, everything gets nerfed.

Nerfed in today's gaming environment means reduced effectiveness from the original iteration of the object. It is mostly done to balance said object, which usually means bringing it up to par with other objects of simmilar class. This automatically removes useless as a meaning. Same goes for the drop rate: nerfed drop rate means reduced drop rate, not removed from the drop tables. I suggest you read this before you argue on this topic again: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nerf_%28video_gaming%29

About fusion cores, the drop rate seems fine to me. I play a lot of deffense missions on Helene, Saturn and core are dropping more often than not. It not uncommon to get at least 10 by wave 15. Of course, as others already suggested, T2 and T3 survivals yeild much greater results.
