Interception Needs Some Changes Asap.

DE Can You please fix interception?because it makes new players go away from Warframe.Atleast make grineer not insta capture the radio towers in matter of seconds while the grineer  dominate  us silly tenno have to wait literally a minute to capture an single tower(yep that is the feeling when capturing alone) and the grineer are already at 20-50% before the tenno dominate or try to...and grineer waves are literally hordes and hordes of  non-stop spawning grineer which just overwhelm new tenno on the field gruesomly.

 

Don't beilieve me DE?Jump with the Starter Gear at either of the interception missions on Earth and try to win the mission

without powers(newbs don't even use the Warframe Powers).

I would like it if we could capture it by fighting or by hacking the console back (this puts us at risk from enemies shooting us while hacking) but lets us capture faster. Or perhaps a new hacking minigame where we can lock the enemy out from hack-takes and they need to sit on the point to decrypt the console or something so they can insta hack capture again.

No....?I actually beg them to fix it if i came to warframe today and went to do interception i would leave this game on the third try...

You might want to edit the first post and erase all references to update 13. The community is in flames right now about that issue, you don't want to get the backdraft.

+1, it's incredibly skewed in the Grineer's favor since they can just pop right into any tower and capture it within seconds even if you're already guarding the tower (and some of those controls are in inconvenient locations); meanwhile it takes forever to recapture them, and should some enemy choose to camp behind a box or a floor below you it completely stops the capturing process and you're forced to leave your post while another wave 50+ enemies moves in.

 

The Grineer have the numbers to actually overwhelm us now and force us to retreat unlike the pre-Tethra's doom interception, they should be required to actually hold the line now as well.

 

 

EDIT: Granted you can spam ultimates, but this is a pretty low level mission, you shouldn't need a Nova or Rhino built to spam ults just to hold the enemy back or kill stragglers.

Managed to complete the first wave using a Loki with a Braton and Lato both with no mods on them. Loki had a level 2 Invis and a 3/2 tick Redirection and Vitality. Main problem I ran into was killing the few leaders that spawned and the Helions with the explosive jetpacks. I wouldn't expect new players to be able to complete this solo without some tryhard panties.

Currently the game mode features a cluster of enemies sent out during waves, which  favours punch-through or AoE attacks, which I doubt people at that stage would have even heard of, unless they're heavily interested in the game.

True, but they're never going to change it. They said they'd tweaked it in one hotfix, but that was a lie. I used to like Interception, especially Lua. I don't play it anymore. New players die, and I can't carry them.

 

They might as well just remove the game mode, because it sucks and they know it.

If they don't change it then they will loose alot of new players and players are something with F2P games really need. 

 

 

Conquest Mode is actually very fun in some games for example Star Wars:Battlefront conquest was good and fun atleast for me so was Battlefront II.

I would just like a hotfix so the Grineer can't capture points back and gain percentage so damned FAST. With a random group, it feels impossible, especially if one person is new or doesn't know what they're doing. 2 tries in a row watching our meter sit at 85% or more, just to watch one small mistake blow the whole thing to hell.

They simply need to reset it to pre-Tethra levels. It was perfectly fine before Tethra's Doom.

 

Yep, good chunk of the problem is the fact that Earth Interception missions are the only Interception missions in the game. Meaning if older players wanted to play interception, they had to go to Earth.

 

Que those older players griping about how it's too easy, while forgetting they're on a newbie tileset. Hilarity ensues.
