[Warframe Concept] Scis The Thief

Scis - A warframe who is based around using stealth to move around and steal from his foes.

 

Health: 75 (225 at 30)

Shields: 75 (225 at 30)

Energy: 100 (150 at 30)

Armor: 110

Sprint Speed 1.2

Stamina: 100

 

Ability 1: Poison Dart: Silently throw a dart at an enemy 4/6/8/10 meters away, which deals 60/90/120/150 toxic dps.

Ability 2: Shadow: Be consumed by the shadows, dissapearing from sight completely for 10/12/14/16 seconds.

Ability 3: Flash Bomb: Throw down a grenade which emits a bright flash in a radius of 2/3/4/6 meters, blinding all foes around you for 10/12/14/16 seconds and allowing for a quick escape.

Ability 4: Shrapnel Trap: Place an explosive surprise on the ground, which will deal 200/300/400/500 damage, 50% slash 50% explosive, with a blast radius of 3/4/5/6 in-game meters, dealing 25 less damage per meter.

 

Ability 4's name needs to be redone, but I'm too tired to think of something amazing.

 

I was playing the new game Thief and got an idea for a Warframe, and here it is. I got the Warframe's name because I was thinking of a name then saw a pair of scissors, and there's the origin of his name.

 

For ability 4, I will possibly buff the decreased damage per meter later on so it deals more damage, since the decrease is pretty large.

 

Will possibly buff Ability 3 later on since it's an ability 3 that only makes you invisible, so it needs more. Will try thinking of some more things later.

Yes, but this is so you can do it, without killing anyone, and getting through a level with stealth. You might even get a ghost rank lol. I play too much Thief. -_-

That's why I made a note that I was going to buff 3 with something, but I just don't know what yet. You'll go invisible, but it needs something more.

keep the 3rd one and make the 2nd one something that cripples the enemies a thief always needs a trick to get out trouble when needed like throwing caltrops 1st ability is kinda useless you need to be close to them, what you get will be of almost no use and it makes no sense in none stealth gameplay you could make poison darts or something the health and shield is killer even with 90 armor 50 health could get you killed on venus and feel like pluto speed you could make faster like a 1.2, thieves arent slow,  energy if hes not stats based best make him ability based so increase the max at 30 all my opinion

Here are my proposed changes:

 

Pickpocket: give it a limit on how many times it can pickpocket a fow. Like 1 to 2 at max lv increased by power strenght and duration mods.

 

Swoop: Dissapears while doing a backflip. It doesnt last as long as the others so you better be quick. This is mostly as a "OH S#&$" momento kind of skill.

 

Reverse Pickpoket: Changed to a trap. its like a bouncing Betty: It will lay on the ground until and enemy gets close, it will jump and explode dealing msotly slash damage and stunning the enemy for a few sec as the shrapnel covers their faces (kinda like Saryn's Miasma). The amount of traps that can be placed can be increased by mods.

 

4 skill: Master of Disguise: Turn into an enemy unit similar to those around you (yeah your gonna need to get close to disguise).

Heres the catch: Disguise last a set amount of time, not increased by mods. You can stealth Kill enemies (Yeah its an instant kill like well placed Stealth attacks should) while disguised wich increases the time of the diguise and makes the enemy body dissapear. The amount of time awared for the kill CAN be increased by mods. If your spotted killing an enemy the disguise ends and you need to bail out of it!

Pickpocked has a higher chance to find rare loot while in disguise, but keep an eye on the timer.

 

I like the idea of having a full stealth warframe focusing in deception rather than fighting head on, like the spy.

 

OH OH also he should be the smalles warframe, im not saying a Midget but you know quiote smaller than most (Im pretty sure its Either Nova or Zephir the smallest)

Edits made:

Ability 1 removed and changed to Poison Dart.

Abilities 2 removed and Ability 3 moved to Ability 2.

Ability 3 changed to Flash Bomb.

Ability 4 changed to Shrapnel Trap.

Health increased from 50 to 75.

Armor increased from 90 to 110.

Speed increased from 1.1 to 1.2.

Lol yw. A pure stealth frame would be cool though. One that wasn't very tanky and was able to move quickly without being seen. I'd design it completely.

I would use it but as you know the co-op system prevents stealth and along with that stealth still isnt big enough to be able to make a frame centered around it sadly

So this is a thief Warframe but has no thievery? Maybe an alternate ability could be making a living enemy release their drops with an increased chance of uncommon / rare resources, mods or oxygen supply pickups - an actual pickpocketing that would make it more thief-y.

 

I don't know, just suggesting.

Pickpocketing skill requires one stealth two close distance and three the time and patience no one has in this game nor would anyone spend energy on a skill that gives your dead drops before they are dead when they are going to die anyways
