Llyssa
I don't know what you guys have done for melee 2.0 12.0, but PLEASE have it so that finishers that don't kill anyone either have a blade-wiggle DoT to do extra damage while they're SLOWLY recovering, or totally nix the slow recovery on non-fatal blows, or make a difference between actual finishers and mere sneak attack/downed opponent strikes. Also, if it hasn't been done yet, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE nerf eurasia. MMOBomb tournament means we've got thousands of new players flooding in, and they're going to be excited all the way up until they get roflstomped by eurasia. This has been said before, but it's *especially* important now that we've got this massive influx expected.
Skaleek
Can you re-word your request, I'm not sure what you mean. Other people might have the same trouble.

Taranis49
Can you re-word your request, I'm not sure what you mean. Other people might have the same trouble. I assume (yes, I know the old saw about when you assume...) he's talking about the melee finishers on opponents that are knocked down. At current, they're slow, awkward, and leave you open and vulnerable enough that pretty much nobody bothers with them if they can help it. The fact that they're about as effective as a bunny fart in terms of damaging enemies doesn't help either.
Llyssa
Er... if you use a melee weapon, and you perform a "finisher" animation(either a stealth attack or an attack against an opponent laying on the ground), right now, you are trapped in said animation for 3-5 seconds after the damage is inflicted. Enemies generally need only one second to return to standing(and able to attack) position after the damage is inflicted, so you're sitting there trapped in a worthless animation while they counter-attack. The "finisher" moves inflict extra damage compared to regular attacks, but are not fatal on anything I encounter with regular frequency. There's no reason for you to be trapped for 3-5 seconds in an animation for a non-lethal attack. So these either need to keep inflicting damage(they move as if they should be, but they do not), or be shortened when they're non-lethal. There's been lots of talk about comboes and flow and chains and timing, but no mention of the ridiculous time penalty on these non-lethal "finisher" attacks. ...I guess that would be more clear if I wasn't the only one using melee. <.<
Guest
Oh, you meant enemy knockdown recovery! I thought you were speaking about an upcoming new feature I missed because I don't watch the livestreams. I agree, finishers with heavy weapons suck fat donkey butt.
