# Saryn Miasma Kills Lvl 60 Corrupted Gunners?

## Question

So I have made some calcs, and miasma should be killing lvl60 Corrupted Heavy Gunners. Can someone tell me if I did the operations correct? Or if i'm missing something.

Formulas I used:

Armor = base Armor * (1 + (((current Level - base Level) ^ 1.75) / 200))

Effective Health = Base Health * (1 + (Armor / 300))

Maxed Miasma deals 4293.8 corrosive damage, so it would deal 75% more to ferrite armor enemies like Corrupted Heavy Gunners ----> 4293.8 * 1.75 = 7514,15

Armor = 500 * (1+(((60 - 10) ^1.75) / 200)) = 2850,3

Effective Health = 700*(1+(2850.3/300)) = 7350,7

So they have 7350,7 health and Miasma deals 7514,15, so they should be killed?

Can someone tell me if that's true?

You seem to be forgetting that the damage miasma does will still be reduced by said armour, to quite a pitiful value actually.

use corrosive projection, and magically everything but napalms and bombards will die, and even those can die up to level 30-40, at least with my build.

I can tell you with absolute certainty that Miasma will barely kill lv 60 Flameblades

Anyhow, you know how enemies have more health at higher levels? You seem to have forgotten that part.

Edit: Also, you're using the wrong setup or formula for Miasma damage. @ 25 energy with -65% duration it does 4037 corrosive damage. With max Blind Rage it should do 5888 corrosive damage.

Pretending your Miasma does 4000 corrosive damage, that's (4000)(1.75)(~.284538) = 1991 damage, which isn't very high.

By the way, Corrupted HG has a base level of 8 with a supposed base of 700 hp if you do want to see how much health they have. Let's just say that you're basically going to tickle them.

Thank you! hahha now i can use my maxed fleeting expertise, and miasma is stronger, but how do enemy health increase, do you know the formula? I can't find it in the wiki. Also made all the calculations in your post and did mine again, I think I understand better now how it works, just need the health equation.

Unfortunately I don't know the health increase equation, and haven't found it or anyone who knows it. Been looking for a while.

The formula in Gogge's thread is (lv-blvl)^2*.015*bhp+bhp. I have not actually tested the accuracy of this one unlike the shield/armor/armor mitigation formulas, but until I do I'm still pretty willing to trust it.

I will also say to use the spawn levels on the wiki with caution. Their values are not always right when plugging them into the formulas for many of the enemies. I don't actually know how they decided on those spawn level values they put up on the wiki. Some point over the coming week or next I will probably do a massive recheck of all the enemies in the game.

So 29k health.

You also did miss something - corrosive damage ignores 75% of Ferrite armor. So the gunner EHP is only increased by ((0.25*armor)+300)/300 against corrosive damage.

Miasma stacks.. so you can dropt he cost to 25 and mash the button as much as you like.

with a decent setup of corrupted mods, you can kill a level 60 commando with about ...  fleeting 5 casts.

I personally wait 4 seconds between each cast and use the 16 second stunlock to sneak in a few headshots or the odd melee hit if I am leveling a melee.

I have seem some weird effects with Nova too, I have seen 4000-7000 ticks, with a 2.8s fleeting build

past wave/min 40 its more of an stun and a way to clear trash mobs as you focus on elites.
