Umm... I Liked The Idea Of Credit Rewards...

I always felt the numbers were low and didn't scale appropriately, but I never felt the idea was intrinsically flawed.  Personally, I'd have started them at 5k and every five minutes, if you get a credit award, that goes up by 2k or so, so at 20 minutes, you're getting 11k.  At 40 minutes, you're getting 19k.

Ever since Void credits were nerfed from 75k to 25k in T3, I've been hemorrhaging credits and dropped from my 2mil to zero in pretty short order through the costs of fusion and crafting, let alone the cost of transmutation that I hardly ever bother with.

A point that was brought up in a response below was that if they aren't large, they aren't worthwhile, but if they're large, they deflate the value of credits.  Why not make them rarer then?  Make them large enough so that when you do get them, you're glad to have gotten them, but rare enough that they don't completely devalue credits like the 75k from T3 did.

As an aside, I'd have applied the same sort of rule to resource drops like cells.  Start at 3 and go up from there according to something like floor(3+(minutes-5)/10).  At 40 minutes, that's 6 cells which IMO isn't bad.

We get plenty of credits being void missions anyway though.

Not really. Not everyone is rich is on credits. Especially since DE has been nerfing credits so much lately. I always find myself in need of credits. Credits should be the one thing the game that we should not have to grind for, yet lots of people have to.

Ever since they nerfed the credit rewards from the void, I've been low on credits and I had a couple million at the time of the change.  This change will just make matters worse.

After maxing hornet strike, and going on a mastery fodder binge....I'm pretty broke as well.

While credits mixed in to all drop tables can be a frustration, I'd love it if one void survival type (T2 for example) ONLY gave credits (common) and forma BP (uncommon), with the $ amounts scaling slightly at higher lv as volt suggested. Maybe slightly toned down scaling due to the fact it's only credits.

Apparently I've been bleeding through my credit reserves ever since I decided to finish my collection of weapons.

Making credit rewards scale to time and challenge probably would have made them actually worthwhile.

Maybe kept out of T3 void, but at least in star map and lower voids.

I can't say you're wrong, but it seems like the intent is to have creds come from no one particular source but instead come in steadily from various places in small quantities. Something people get naturally for playing over time, rather than something you go farm. There's no way that I'm going to go from 35min -> 40min in a survival and be happy to see credits without it being so many credits that it breaks that entirely and turns survival into the one place to farm creds over night. There's just no middle ground in my mind. If it didn't blow me away, I would rather it not be creds.

Personally I'm hoping this is what they do for exploration. Warframe's version of a treasure chest. Press E to open something big and important looking, and then tons and tons of creds pop out and fall all over the floor. Get spammed with that zippy / card flippy noise as you pick them all up.

The amount was too small and in the way most of the time, they were mainly a nuisance when we wanted prime parts and weren't dropping enough when they were there.

What would be nice is have the credits you earn per survival/defence accrue with each consecutive wave.

Agree?

Unfortunately, for fusion, transmutation, and even crafting, there are some pretty steep costs and it's hard to actively increase the rate of accruing them.  I understand your concern about a lack of middle-ground, but what if the numbers were made larger but more rare?  Then they'd not do too much on average, while still making a notable difference when you did get them?

500,000 creds.

Only shows up after 25min.

On par with the other rarest rewards.

I don't want to be getting 5k credits at start, and 19k credits at 40 minutes, that's ridiculously low. In 3 minutes I can run T3 cap and get 25k credits, that's really a slap in the face to get 19k credits at 40 minutes, sorry. I'd be completely fine with credits in survivals if we got 25k per credit stash. That to me feels more reasonable, and would give us a good place to farm credits.

Nowadays all I'm doing is farming for credits anyway, and honestly I kind of wish the 75k credit rewards for T3 came back. I doubt that would happen but credits is pretty much what is stopping me from progressing right now, and it's more frustrating than fun to have to farm for credits. I'd rather have 5 million credits than have barely 20k at any time one time.

Except that you very well could be getting several per run which means you could get much more than 25k per key.

Yes, except that I still don't like to see 5k credits as a reward, even at five minutes. Just my own opinion, I don't feel any sort of excitement when I see that pop-up, instead I just kind of groan. I'm sure it's the same for others as well. 10k, with increasing every time after I would probably be fine with.

T1-T3 capture gives you an amazing amount of credits for a such a simple mission... you are playing the game wrong.
