Solo Player "multiple Player Scales"

I remember Diablo 2.

"/players 8."

Suddenly, level 20-25 before even Act I was completed.

More players should mean more challenge and with challenge should reward (rare resource drop chance increase, rare mods etc) follow.

Setting the multiplier for yourself in solo could be a fun way for said players to increase the difficulty.

I like this idea.

This is a great idea , I find myself soloing things all the time that just seems to hard at or to easy at points Depending on the mission. If i where able to set it to where it would be at a certain difficulty at a whim that would be awesome !!! For example Lets say me and another player decide to do ( for example) An ODD and we can get to wave 55-60 with just us ( which i have ) Then that means 4 players could do it a piece of cake and as far as i can tell Thats not exactly end game map but its getting there , Then if thats all it really has to offer then boooooo lol xD. BUT if you could say set it to where each player is worth lets say 3-4 other players of the currently set difficulty then it would get real interesting. And maybe evan up the loot drops as it increases in difficulty

City of Heroes / City of Villains had this exact feature.

When entering an instance solo (All missions were instanced) you could set how many players you 'counted as'.

So I could go in solo but 'count as' a 4-player team to challenge myself. The enemies would be the same level and have the same drops, but the number of enemies spawned would be adjusted as if 4 players had entered and not just one.

Later they added the ability for a group leader to have their group 'count as' having more players than it did. This allowed teams of 2-3 players to fight 4-5 players worth of enemies by having the game 'pretend' that their group had 5 people instead of 3.

This system only allows you to spawn as many enemies as a full group of players would spawn, so the engine/system/AI should not have any problems.

You cannot have a group of 4 where each of them counts as 4. The system only allows you to pretend there are 4 players regardless of actual player count.

+ ALL the 1's

Amazing idea that has been a huge success in past games.
