dysanfel
Warframes has always randomly crashed bringing up the dialog box for me to explain what I was doing during the crash. I have DX11 unchecked, 64-bit mode unchecked, and mulit-threading unchecked. But to be honest I have tried every combination of checking and unchecking with the same results. My rig is a Win 8.1, Core i7 870 @2.93 ,16GB matched ram, GTX660 GPU driver version 335.23. Nothing is overclocked. In fact I have tried underclocking my machine and still get random crashes. This has been going on since the first time I played, but it seems to be getting worse. I could sometimes do 4 missions without a crash. Now I can't finish one. Warframe is the only game I own that crashes like this. Pythadragon
Try this: Go to device manager -> disable nvidia HD audio. Strange solution, but fixed my problem with a similar system (win 7 64 bit, gtx660, i5-3570k, 8 GB ram) Unless you want to use audio from the HDMI output of your graphics card to your monitor, Nvidia hd audio is unnecessary if you have other audio drivers. For example, I'm using realtek drivers. Edited April 4, 2014 by Pythadragon
