bones7056
think this should be addressed before one giant conglorent takes over a good part of the world, i think we all know the one.
Krjal
I don't know the answer for sure of course but it looks like you can. One (of probably many) caveats being that it costs the clan/alliance a fair bit not just to build the Solar Rails to get there but to maintain them as well. It's likely there's gonna be some sort of scramble to claim whole swathes of the Origin system to begin with but hopefully the upkeep costs and pressure from other alliances will keep any one alliance from controlling too much. PS. your title needs a "than" rather than a "then" :p
Voratiu
If this is the case, it opens up a great opportunity for other Tenno alliances to coordinate one huge attack on each one of their nodes, keeping whatever they get for themselves until another Giant comes and swallows them, or one of the alliances decides it needs more power. Just like Greek city-states, yo. Edited April 4, 2014 by Voratius

Just like Greek city-states, yo. great example of greek city states. since there is a max of 3k players in each one that could ally together and really take it over. hope that wouldn't be the case. MeduSalem
Even if there's a cap with 3000 people forming an alliance... that doesn't prevent those people from forming another alliance consisting of another 3 Moon Clans, which may be absurd but I bet that's what's going to happen in the end... and at some point they will be dominating the starchart and demand outrageous taxes which they use to maintain/repair the towers and which the people will have to pay because they have not enough resources or courage to take on one of this super-hardcore-alliances. If you can't beat them, join them... or something like it... oO
MisterUltimate
Maybe, but logistically, it would be exceedingly hard to maintain. Getting a large group of people motivated to go to virtual war isn't that hard for contests and championships, but the Badlands don't have a definite end. Players take breaks, move to other games, or set gaming aside for real life concerns all the time. The longer an alliance holds, the more their original player base gets whittled down. And even at their peak, no matter what, alliances will be only a fraction of a percent of the player community. There will never be a case where they aren't outnumbered, and they will always be vulnerable to a challenge. If an alliance does get that ambitious, it'll take a lot of resolve, constant recruiting, and good will from the community at large to maintain.
