Melee 2.0 Combo Move List In Pause Menu While In Game

Notice Z Z Z combo string that pops up whenever you attack. Something like this can be added to the game as an optional thing to make melee simple and easy to remember. Every button you press is highlighted as you go along the combo string.

 

What it basically does is tell you each combo possible from the starting button you pressed. keep in mind you have to press the button for it to pop up. So every combo starting from Light shall pop up when you press Light and same for Heavy and if there is a lot, it can always be broken into sections so you'd have more than two sections. This would be bringing practice into the main missions as it's not always easy to transition from practice to real thing.

 

And this has to be an optional thing so people aren't forced to stare at it.

 

Doing this would ease a lot of people into melee and make them better at it.

This game sucks and so does its presentation of the melee system. I like it the way the devs presented it. It requires you to learn and to remember. I like that.

So everyone has this perfect memory and is going to remember the button commands for all stances of all the melee weapons they use especially witha  to of weapons available. Now add that altogether and see how many button commands one must be remember especially with new melee weapons down the road adding more commands to remember.

 

Sounds like your answer to to press start or escape constantly for each weapon especially during missions with others. Hear that? the sound of people dying around you? You are use to it, it may get louder.

 

And who cares whether the game sucks or not? What does that have to do with this suggestion? A lot of bad games have something worth taking from it and this system is common in practice mode in fighting games. So your arguement with "that game sucks" is mute.

I had hoped for more combos.. basically just one unique combo per stance, like it stands right now. 

if they let people string together two buttons, there would be more. they basically used a system similar to Phantasy Star Universe.

 

With PSU, you would equip PA Arts to a weapon which is stance in warframe and then you would press one button 1-3 times to execute one button for each part, time it right and you crit 100%, warframe is the same except you don't crit and you have to time it to get a different combo.
