Livestreams And Facebook...

Everytime I watch the livestreams and try to chat, I get this message: 

 

''You must Facebook Connect to send messages to this channel. You can Facebook Connect in your twitch settings under the connections tab.''

 

Yet everytime I check under settings, it says that i'm already connected to facebook... is there any way to fix this?

 

And to be perfectly honest, I think it's kind of stupid to force your viewers to be connected to facebook if they want to participate in chat.

Agreed. With the continual breaches of privacy committed by that social site, I've stopped using it long ago. I'd rather be able to connect through steam, anyway.

It's up to Warframe to change this setting.

 

Twitch is "only" proposing the option.

In my case i do not want to attatch facebook, because my facebook also has work contacts and i don't want to mix my facebook full of personal and job information with videogame hype.

I do not have a facebook and I do not want one. 

But I do want to be able to comment.

This is kinda unfair.

Yeah, I agree with you all on these subjects, but the other problem is, even if I CAN connect, it never lets me chat...

and I'm not sure if that means that I don't show up on the users list on the stream, so I might not even be eligible to get that free platinum. Which is just plain mean.
