(PSN)GrahamMasterJ
I think closing the distance enough for Frost to slowglobe a schoke point will give him a big speed advantage. If only the Slow effect expanded with the globe. He would be the Ultimate melee support.

Zhoyzu
frost is gonna be a great frame because of stats and the fact all his abilities are useless so you can put all sorts of stamina and melee mods on.

Well, not entirely true, but snowglobe does pretty much die in an instant in high levels :/
And_Now_I_Dance
Any frame that is immune to knockback would be the best. How do you feel about the Constitution + Sure Footed mod combo? Gives an 80% chance to resist knockback.
iPieface
Ash's teleport will finally be considered efficient. I personally love the ability already no matter what people say because it gives me more mobility.
Grascen
Valkyr is going to be up there. Sure.. War Cry is good, but Rip Line will really make her good. It lets you bring enemies to you or jump to enemies. This is important when you consider that new Combo Multiplier.
GSDAkatsuki
Any frame that is immune to knockback would be the best. When you are performing melee actions don't you resist knockdown anyways? The way the game is programmed it's animation doesn't override an action that is currently being performed. That's also why when you tailwind or any other animated move into exit the proper animation never plays. Sev7n
Loki cause his obvious invisibility and excal cause of radial blind and his other abilities are really fun for melee

zurikten
if you solo it doesn't matter too much, if you are in a group it would be the fastest one as you wont get close enough to kill anything, especially the exterminate mission types.
Kamal965
Loki doesn't even need his Invisibility. As they said in the devstream, any stun is enough to open up a finisher for you; Radial Disarm stuns every disarmable enemy (whether they were already disarmed or not) for 1 second. That's plenty of time to go around using finishers on every single person there is, and parrying the attacks that come near you!

WhisperByte
The way I see it resistance to knockdowns is primary concern when trying to melee so in my opinion frame tiers when it comes to melee would be: T1 will probably be Loki, Ash and Trinity as they don't have to sacrifice 2-3 mod slots just for a (somewhat high) chance to resist knockdowns T2 will probably be Rhino (At least for low-mid level content where Iron Skin lasts long enough). Excal (Radial Blind) and maybe Valkyr (although very limited melee weapon options) T3 will probably be the rest as they require you to focus on melee modding (2-3 mods for knockdown mitigation, tankiness mods etc) to even come close to the effectiveness of the above frames

Will enemies not do their AoE knockback when they're invisible even if they're right on top of them? Back when Loki's invisibility didn't hide sentinel running Hyena was a pain as she would stomp everytime she saw the sentinel. Now on the other hand both Ash and Loki get to do whatever the F*** they want as long as they are invisible

While invisibility seems really good paired with melee, I really don't want to miss out on all the amazing new weapon animations though. ;-;

FirstZen
Its already been said several times but loki is the one. He's the fastest frame so he can close distance easily. Radial disarm makes everybody melee and stops the crossfire. Decoy distracts and groups enemies for multi-hit devastation. Switch teleport gets you into the fray quickly. Invisibility to get out of tough situations or just to pump you up into overkill mode. Unless they change it for the update, invisibility also pumps up melee damage on top of all that. The one trade-off which has always been the case is that loki is that he is squishy, but if you're using him correctly nobody will be able to land a hit anyway. Katakuna
How do you feel about the Constitution + Sure Footed mod combo? Gives an 80% chance to resist knockback. 80% is nice, but frames like Rhino or Trinity have 100% resistance when their respective powers are active. Though I suppose if one doesn't want to play either warframe, that method would be the next best alternative. When you are performing melee actions don't you resist knockdown anyways? The way the game is programmed it's animation doesn't override an action that is currently being performed. That's also why when you tailwind or any other animated move into exit the proper animation never plays. Well, Scott was getting knocked down almost every time he tried to melee a Heavy, despite that he was attacking them. It might be different outside of the dev build, though.
