(PSN)Samurai_Ops
I've been playing Warframe on the PS4 for a few months now and have been content with the graphics and gameplay and just overall game. Recently I've seen the gameplay on the pc and I am astounded at the Lack of particles the ps4 has. I know the system can handle it why don't they add those particles? Up vote this if you wanna see those particles on ps4. http://www.stuff.tv/playstation-4/update-nvidia-physx-and-apex-graphics-come-ps4/news Edited April 5, 2014 by (PS4)Samurai_Ops

--Sokol
PS4 has AMD graphics card in it. AMD cards do not support PhysX. Thus, you can't have those cool particles on PS4. Edited April 5, 2014 by Cerberus_Sokol
Hyunsai
By the way, I don't see how the PS4 can handle it when many players reported severe FPS drops. If anything, they should tone some graphic options down to try to maintain 60FPS in any situation. Edited April 5, 2014 by Hyunsai

(PSN)Lord_Gremlin
They obviously need to code particles for PS4 from scratch. I kinda don't have any fiath in this developer, port is a very low quality job. I think OP recently played Infamous Second Son. After looking at this particle fest Warframe looks pethetic to say the least. I'd expect a dev comment here...

(PSN)Garrison64
Yea there are already severe fps drops in quite a few situations. As things stand I don't feel they could add anything more. The PS4 is not a PC no matter how many times people say it is. It's a console and is subject to all the limitations that a console has. Either you learn to live with that or you switch over to PC. (PSN)atpbx
I've decided to stick with my PC account until the performance is sorted on the PS4.
(PSN)alexgrig
it's not power issues. ps4 is more than enough capable to run this at max settings just like the pc( this game aint no damn Crysis 3 or Arma 3, relax). it's about the whole NVidia crap. Shame. we've seen particle effects in infamous and whatnot, so it IS possible, hell, Infamous is FAAAAAAAAAR more demanding than this game. So it's not power issues. it's whether or not DE wants to make the particles from scratch JUST for the ps4(which i hope they do,the versions are FAAAAAAAAAR too different, easy to alienate one from the other).
