Sobek And Blaze

Hello Player's,

 

Where i can get the Blaze mod?I farm nightamare missions but i dont get it.I get only Fortitude,Vigor,Ice Storm,WildFire,Vital Sense but no Blaze.

 

 

Worth to put Orokin Catalyst on Sobek?

Blaze can be acquired on nightmare mod, the thing is that the chance is very low, used to be 1% along with Hammershot. Just keep trying, you're still missing various nightmare mods.

Catalysts and Reactors are often called potatoes. What he said is that you should put a Catalyst on your Sobek.

Don't potato sobek. There are better shotguns in the game than that one. Boar prime is much better than the sobek. So is the Hek and the Drakgoon.

I wouldn't say the other shotguns are out and out "better".  Hek has the same long effective range, and a little more damage, but with Hek you will be reloading... all. the. time due to its tiny magazine.   Boar Prime has incredible theoretical DPS but only if you jam the barrel into something's face.  Drakgoon is a weird combination of bow and shotgun, not doing as well at long range or short range as more specialized weapons.

 

Sobek has good power, good range, good rate of fire, and a huge magazine. The only thing that really stands out as a "con" for the Sobek is the reload time, but if you slap an ammo stock on there you will have an incredible 32 rounds to fool around with between reloads. Otherwise it's pretty much middle of the road and suitable for all occasions. I have a potato in mine and don't really regret doing it.
