Getting Platinum In The Game For Free But.....

I know there's a 75% or 50% discount for buying the platinum. but for me, i can't buy it since i can't borrow my parent's credit card or to keep myself being scammed (i have encountered many of my friends being scammed by buying some in the internet using a credit card from other countries) so, for safety sake, i don't like buying platinums using a credit card, but i still want platinums. so i was thinking... why can't we just have platinums for free in the game but a difficult mission? For me, 1 platinum for a daily mission is fair to me since it's a money in the game that you need to but it from via credit card. So don't you think that we need this kind of feature to get platinums in the game instead of buying it for cash?

Q: Why don't you just joined an event where you get 1000 platinums for free from the warframe crew?
A: Yeah. My luck is not that great. And i don't have time for making it like the Tenno tune contest..

Platinum is DE's way of making money.  Thats why they limit events where platinum is awarded to players to the giveaways in streams and contests.  If they gave away platinum in missions they would be losing a lot more money.

 

If you are so worried about getting scammed then you can either use a paypal which is safer than flat out entering a credit card, use karma koins which are sold in any cvs, best buy, ect, or your steam wallet.

Helmets go for free in daily alerts and that's most likely the only thing you'll see given away for nothing. DE has to make money somehow.

 

If you're playing via steam you can buy prepaid steam cards to buy plat, if not well.. it would be cool if you could just go buy prepaid platinum cards in game shops but I doubt that will ever happen.

To get platinum ingame you hunt for MODs and sell them in trade.

 

You are more likely to get hacked by downloading whatever "hack" that gives you anything in any game, which is why only idiots do it.

 

And really? Just buy some if you want, it is pretty safe and I have bought it with an international card, and other payment methods, from a foreign country with &!$$ poor foreign payment policies. It is pretty safe, the only entities that are constantly watching your every move are governments.

Use karma koin, there's no tax since it's considered a charity. Over here in montreal the tax is 15% so it awesome that these don't have any tax. Also i think plat is slightly cheaper.

 

Now back to your post. Absolutely not. It's not DE's fault that you cant pay for platinum. It like going to a store and be like "aw i has no money because i cant take out my cash from the bank" the guy is just going to kick you out of the damn store. get real

Get Paypal, do a bank transfer from your bank account to paypal, pay via paypal. No Credit Card needed, no chance to get scamed unless your bank is not a real bank.

I had the same problem.. Then I found out about something called.. Cherry Credits? They apparently sell in 7-Eleven stores. I'm sure you've seen one of those before.
