VoidGhost
What should Hyper Mode be ? [sORRY FOR THE MISTAKE IN THE TITLE] In this thread you can offer your opinion without any limitations but simply folowing the rules on what you want to see as a Hypermode State on Any of your Warframes as wel as on Lotus.I will present a few examples to trigger the speed of your thoughts a bit if you allow me Hyper Modes known so far 0.Focus system from Warframe 1.Dragonball Z Hyper modes(refering to SSJ transformations and Budokai hyper mode too) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRkKr5ePJno 2.Armor Evolution to more muscular and/or equiped with intense aura eminating from suit's energy cores 3.Beast mode,Warframe changes to a monster-like form with upgraded stats for a short period 4.Elemental transformations 5.All Warframe fusion form 6.All Tecnocyte mass absorption form 7.All Sentinel Absorption form 8.Time travel Master form 9.Void control Master form 10.Speed motion overclock form 11.Enemy absorption powers as Majin Bu from Dragonball http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Majin_Buu Notice : IMPORTANT - HYPER MODE is intended only for T6(Orokin Void Tower six Boss only missions ) and normal defense boss only instead of normal enemies missions.(that means about 10 times the difficulty of G3) http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Focus Is Focus system enough ? (please feel free to analyse and debate on the the Lens system) Thanks for your attention Edited April 6, 2014 by VoidGhost
(PSN)Daikon177
I would love nothing more than going super rhino god on some fools But dont we need tougher enemys first to actually need to go into some sort of beast mode?
BoomyGordo
the focus system is enough. We dont need to spend 3-4 missions powering up to use hyper form once for 1 boss
VoidPunch
I would love nothing more than going super rhino god on some fools But dont we need tougher enemys first to actually need to go into some sort of beast mode? My thoughts exactly. Although the Devs have been talking about T4 keys!
(PSN)NicoTheSneakyGuy
When you said DBZ's Hyper Mode I think you should've posted DBZ Budokai 3 footage instead. I remember well how the Hyper Mode in that game works, Once you had enough KI, You could press a button to enter Hyper Mode, You'd do more damage and could execute Ultimates, But after it ran out You'd be fatigued and had to recover by spinning the analog. (PSN)Daikon177
My thoughts exactly. Although the Devs have been talking about T4 keys! Oh man yeah I remember them mentioning that. I really hope they do, would really help thin out the drop table. Then again so would taking credit caches and cells out of survival but they dont seem to want to do that so we'll have to wait an see
VoidGhost
(PS4)DA_HEFF_ indeed Hyper mode is intended for Sentient level enemies and more we do not need any super mod for the curent enemies (PS4)NicoTheSneakyGuy you are correct there may be confusion Edited April 6, 2014 by VoidGhost
Tienxia
I'd imagine hyper mode to be a sort of boost to the warframe's basic physical capabilities, such as increased sprint speed, higher jumps, increased zoom on aiming, faster reload, faster melee speed, and higher acceleration on sliding. Basically it would take parkour and movement to another level, while also giving a small non-damage boost to combat capabilities associated directly with increased physical strength, while not affecting damage values and abilities. This will make it independent from the Focus system because hyper mode will just be an overclocking of the warframe's basic physical strength. For the visuals, I'd assume that the warframes will simply get more muscle definition and a slight increase in muscular size. For example, Ash would gain far more visible eight packs, lats, traps, pecs, and thigh muscle definition along with a slightly burlier frame. IamSalva
Give us ANY Enemie that is tough to beat first.. even with current max level gear you can kill lvl 600 Grineer.... and it takes hours to even see such enemies... give me a planet starting at lvl 200... For hypermode.. we would need a lvl 1000 planet?
VoidGhost
IamSalva you are way too correct and I do fear that with the add of the combos there will be a huge game balancing issue unless boss defense missions(missions with bosses instead of normal enemies) apear in nightmare version
iNsaNitySOZ
No stat/buff/debuff changes. Only an experienced player can play without any HUD.
VoidGhost
iNsaNitySOZ hmm depends on the applications available by each and every upgrade introduction
9tailboy
In update 13, melee 2.0 allows you to spend your energy for extra "power" in your attacks on the enemy, basically you spend 5 energy for boosted stats on every hit.
Vargras
The fact that the very first link is DBZ completely turns me off from the idea.
VoidGhost
Vargras hmm I suppose because the incompability between human/Sayan Planet bodies and Warframes,it depends on how you see the overwhelmed by power state
HAYABU5A
The fact that the very first link is DBZ completely turns me off from the idea. this the mere mention of DBZ in thread completely ruined the hyper idea how about a derp mode instead, where u can charge your herp derp to extreme levels
Lost_Cartographer
Aren't the primed forms kinda supposed to be like super warframes already?
VoidGhost
Littleman88 unfortunatelly not only due to the existance of forma, yet there was a serious change to that with Rhino Prime's Gold Iron Skin it is upt tyo the community believe me
Lost_Cartographer
Littleman88 unfortunatelly not only due to the existance of forma, yet there was a serious change to that with Rhino Prime's Gold Iron Skin it is upt tyo the community believe me Well... in lore, the primes were supposed to be above and beyond what the cheap mock ups are capable of I thought. In terms of game play (excluding the weaponry) the frames are kept mostly equal for the same purpose that Hercule can take on SSJ4 Gojeta in those DBZ games the OP was referencing to. An awkward balance. Edited April 6, 2014 by Littleman88
