The_Markness
I think I noticed it with Nekros - he was long and skinny as hell and considering there's a person under that warframe I found it a bit inhuman, but then I remembered Joey Ramone, so I figured it's not impossible. His powers were also kinda insane - bring back the dead? But I figured it's probably reconstructed nanoprobes of enemies when they disintegrate after you kill them. So there's a logic to it. Then there was Zephyr whose feet looked bird-like, even more than with Ember. Now Hydroid who apparently can enter a fluid state? More than any other power this seems more like a fantasy spell than a sci-fi ability. Maybe Mass Effect lore has spoiled me, but what is even the fictional tech behind that?? I'm getting worried that Warframnes are becoming more fantastical, and less humanoid - design and powers alike.THEN AGAIN some people might actually like that. What's your take on this? PsychedelicSnake
I feel we should stay in the valley between the two extremes like we've been doing. If we go too far to one side we'll have a genre shift.
Vargras
With everything else that the warframes can pull off (and some of the things that have evidently happened within the timeline), you're only now questioning it?
RahuHordika
There is nothing that suggests they're any less humanoid, but we have known from a while their powers were given by the void and come from them and not the warframes, so for all we know water morphing is okay. At least that was my guess why nobody ever compained about it. Edited April 6, 2014 by RahuStalker
immolator1001
Hey literally all of the powers are ridiculous, most not based on science. (Excalibur summons swords from No where) And all warframes are just slightly not human. It's fine.
Zhoyzu
mass effect lore was well developed. let me know when you find the warframe lore that says its impossible. loved mass effect but the lores are different so ill keep them that way.

RoboDoge
Everything can be explained away with Nanomachines. Nekros and Oberon cannot. Fanboy frames and there is no real explanation for them. All frames after Nova and before Zephyr are just fanboy frames. Necromancer, Paladin/Druid/Goat and Berserker.
Tiqalicious
The void is an enigma and I honestly love it that way. It's great having some frame powers that are a little down to earth with others leaning more on the fantastical side because then warframe has a little bit of everything people want and doesn't have to limit itself based on pre-conceived notions of what sci fi characters should be. HomeyCDawg
His ult first power is a long range bombardment from his ship, right? I wonder how that ship is able to blast through those void walls without leaving gaping holes in the ceiling. edit: first not ult, mybad. Haldos
His ult is a long range bombardment from his ship, right? That's his first ability. His ult summons tentacles from the floor to attack enemies. Way more plausible.

Sasquatchias
I've noticed it too, and personally I like it, really plays up on that "twisted from the Void" aspect of their lore. Only thing I'd like changed about it is maybe adding in a few more "inhuman" features, as right now the only one I really notice looking different is Oberon and his goat legs. Seanjuju
"Each advancement in technology comes from a new audacity of imagination." There's no difference between magic and technology. if there is any difference, its the ability to explain how it works. There is no point in placing limitations on scifi
RoboDoge
Eh, nothing new about people going out of their way to crap on others having fun. If you give people that are obsessed with anime, cartoons and people that dont have any connection with reality option to choose, they will choose worst solution possible. Ive seen "fan" concepts that would make grown man cry. And laugh at the same time.

Katakuna
Nekros and Oberon cannot. Fanboy frames and there is no real explanation for them. Nekros possesses nanomachines that remember the enemy types killed by nekros, and when called, can replicate the enemy completely in a matter of milliseconds. He sends nanomachines into enemies heads and have them release chemicals that induce a "flight" response (if they are robots, the nanomachines hack them for a similar result). Etc. Oberon uses slow-tracking nanomachines to heal any damage endured by himself and teammates. He spreads out countless nanomachines upon the floor and initiates an area of denial program, damaging any that tread upon them. Etc. XenosInfinity
Nekros and Oberon cannot. Fanboy frames and there is no real explanation for them. Nekros' body is host to a swarm of nanomachines programmed to store and, when called upon by the Tenno, replicate the forms and fighting styles of its most recent victims. Desecrate uses a second set of nanomachines to convert corpses into more useful resources and Terrify is a particularly effective reproduction of the classic "BOO!". Soul punch consists of punching things in the soul.
