Trade Lag

Lately it seems 1/2 of the people I trade with can't see the item I put in and vice versa. I've tried restarting client / pc / router / modem.. going to their dojo.. letting them start the trade.. having them relog and a lot of other things. Sometimes if I wait 2-5 minutes they can see my item and I can see theirs, but other times nothing will appear on their side ever and they can't see mine. This happens regardless of what is being traded, prime parts, plat, ect.
