Instead Of Instant Affinity - Affinity Capsules!

I'm sure it hasn't only happened to me, you're wearing a fully ranked weapon when you log on and it boosts the affinity of your fully ranked item when you have a couple unranked items in your inventory.

 

How about instead of instantly using it, it instead gives you a capsule you can trigger from your inventory so you can select what you want to use it on? Stackable if you want, too.

Same with the warframe affinity piles, I would appreciate it if it waited for me to collect my warframe that is fresh out of the oven after baking for three days in the foundry before throwing the affinity EXP at me.

I'm saying the capsules in your inventory would be able to be sold like you can sell those 800 Nyx helmets blueprints you have.

Or a weapon. Or a warframe. Several things can be sold from your inventory. It's not bought by a merchant, it's just sold.

And for UI, they can create a new box for this and boosters so they don't start ticking as soon as you buy them/DE hands them out

That's clever. 

I'm fairly sure one reason people refuse to buy them is that they activate the very moment you hit "buy" instead of go into your inventory like most games.

There should be a warning of some sort.

This suggestion again? I support it as always, but I am fairly certain it will never happen as it has yet to happen.

I had not seen it before and since it's not a thing and should be a thing I suggested it.

I'd actually have a use for the XP login rewards without worrying if I have maxed gear equipped. 

Even worse is when you know that you have an item that needs just like 40 EXP 'til level 30 and you can finally throw it away instead of have to play with it for an entire game more.

But the EXP was wasted on a maxed out weapon instead.

I've not suggested this before.

I do not mean to say this should not be suggested. It is a very good idea and should be implemented IMO, however it was a very popular suggestion back (if I recall correctly) before U10, so last summer. I suppose it has been almost a year, so maybe they will do it this time, but I do not think they willl.

Ah, I see. I joined just a month ago so that's why I didn't know it had already been suggested.

I support this idea of being able to choose which item to give your free bonus XP to, and whether to even activate it at all. Not only will it make the reward more meaningful, but it can also be used as a way to desaturate the log-in rewards pool. Currently we have separate XP rewards for each individual weapon and item, which may not even be used because the player currently has maxed out weapons equipped. With this, said rewards can be consolidated into a single XP reward that can be used at will.

Aye, that about sums up the idea.

I can't really see any downsides with this except that it would take time to implement but I'm sure we'd all appreciate it.
