Unholyrequiem
First of all when i started I was rather interested, I chose Loki as my War-frame and did various missions. Now all enemies are too strong for my warframe to handle and I or an overpowered player ends up carrying me through the mission. :/ This is actually becoming quite an issue for me. Momoynator
You should work on getting a new frame and weapons so that you're back in even terms. Though, at the end of the day, the warframes/weapons don't make as much as an impact as mods do. Gotta get the right mods installed in the right things for the best def/attack :P
Dtexas
Farm for a new warframe to build and build some new weapons. Weapon blueprints are in the market and warframe parts can be found on boss missions (aside from vor). Check out the wikia for info.
Lorane_Airwing
When you get to earth, don't be too discouraged about being carried through the interception missions. The balance is HORRIBLY broken on them currently. If you want a quick change of pace from lokis style of play you can at least temporarily grab rhino from the boss of venus. He'll be able to get you through most of the planets so you can decide what from you really want to use.
DaftMeat
You need to cover all the basics. Make sure your main Warframe is fully geared, preferably with a Reactor. Get all the basic mods: Redirection, Vitality, Serration, Hornet Strike, multishot mods, elemental damage mods, etc. Learn from people who've been around a while, join a Clan. Earn void keys, run void missions, sell Prime stuff and mods you don't need in the Trade chat channel to earn Platinum for trading/purchases. I joined a clan, they saved my arse. Edited April 7, 2014 by (PS4)korm-2_0
(PSN)dice_thrown
The other thing to note is that all the frames are good at different things. You didn't talk much about your play style, but I'll just say Loki isn't a full-frontal assault kind of frame. As a result, he can be hard for newer players to get a hang of using because he relies on strong mods and tactical awareness. As others have said, you may try Rhino for a while. Iron Skin will keep you safe while you're improving your gear. If it feels like another player is carrying you, that's all right. That's how it is supposed to work; its a co-op game. Until you get a stronger build you'll be more use providing support (radial disarm), reviving if you need to, trying not to die. Remember that when your teammates get a kill, the points they earn are also given to you, split evenly across your frame and three weapons. So, even if you aren't killing, you're still progressing. It does get easier, but the game can be steep at first. Hang in there, grind, and let others carry you. Eventually you'll be carrying others. Some missions allow you to actually do stuff, best you can do is just keep playing. The power curve is insane but you'll get there. I'm finally starting to.
