Can DE please shake up the drop table and make basic melee damage mods, like Heavy Trauma, Sundering Strike, and ESPECIALLY Jagged Edge more available? All other weapon types and their respective Impact, Puncture, and Slash damage mods are much, much easier to find, and rightly so.

DE made base damage mods such as Serration and Pressure Point easier to obtain because of the concern that new players would not obtain such vital mods until much later in the game, when they're required to reach the levels in which they're found. So why has the melee trio remained at their lofty "Rare" status? And on top of that, why is Sundering Strike exclusive to Volatile Runners, and Jagged Edge exclusive to Elite Crewmen? And  why is Heavy Trauma, despite having five sources to it's name, also so difficult to obtain?

I have more Reach mods than I know what to do with, Pressure Point out the wazoo, and don't even get me started on Melee Prowess, a mod that I'd be surprised if anybody used seriously.

Hopefully U13 addresses these issues, or if it remains unfixed, that DE takes another look at what will become an integral part of their game.

I would say you can try to get one for free, but then again, the community is insatiably driven by greed for platinum so that they can buy shinies and *maxed* mods to put on their Synapse/Soma/Galatine/Akstiletto/Fang Prime (the list goes on).

I've given away a couple of Heavy Traumas and Sundering Strikes. I've kept the one and only Jagged Edge I've ever found for myself.

Rare mods be rare?
The other physical damage mods (for other weapon types) are lower rarity because they quite honestly suck and are pointless.
Ability mods need to be kept out of the drop tables, yes, and perhaps some of the rare drops could replace rare abilities.
Jagged Edge in particular feels like it might have an artificially lowered drop rate, because it's not like Elite's are uncommon these days.

Sundering Strike I find is common as hell, do a couple of ODD's and you're almost guaranteed one-I've had huge numbers through my hands

And finally, Trading Chat.

I wonder if DE can make it so that if you kill someone with a certain weapon you are more likely to get a mod for that type.

Example:  you kill an enemy with primary you are more likely to get a mod for a primary weapon, same with secondary and melee.

Other physical damage mods?

What?
