Hardcore Missions Issues And Regular Requests

i dont know if more people is having this issue but it happened me on earth, i wanted to do a mission and a warning apeared that i could do it in regular mode or in hardcore mod. since i was barely rasing up that frame i choose for regular and in a short period the match making put me in a squad, where i got killed in less than 3 second.

 

i was just wondering what happened, when someone told me that it was indeed a hardcore match which wasnt what i had pick, so after a long strugle we manage to finish it, but it leave me with the doubt. i tried again a couple of times and indeed it might happen that you end in the squad that you wanted (say regular) or in the category you didnt choose.

 

my piont is, if you let us take the choice why the match maker would say otherwise?

This occasionally happens to me too. It's probably an oversight in the matchmaking.

I avoid missions with Nightmare variants active for this reason. The matchmaking doesn't care what mode you wanted... it simply dumps you into the first open group. Can be a problem if you were expecting a chilled defense on Venus to level a fresh weapon and instead you get a Vampire clusterfsck with level 30'ish enemies that you can't leave for 10 waves.
