Phobos Boss Battle

I don't know if this is a bug or not, but everytime I try to do this boss I can't hit Lt Lech Kril.

And he is in his burning state? Did you do this boss as a single boss fight already and know how to end his invulnerability?

I killed that lovely pair a dozen times already, worked fine for me. :)

you can find that hammer guy on the planet ceres if you want to solo him, it's really good if you want to know how to beat him. i fought him on my own so i could find his weak spots and really understand how to beat that guy, this is what i found:

 

- shoot him until his shield runs out.

 

- attack the bottom on his back, after receiving enough damage the bottom will become red and one the cables on his back his fall off (get close to him to force him into a melee attack, this leaves his back vulnerable)

 

- after one of his cables has fall off, you just have to survive until he freezes himself (meaning there is no point in wasting bullets, you can once again force him into melee to prevent  him from using his gun), it can take him between 5-30 sec for him to freeze himself for what i noticed.

 

- once he unfreezes, repeat the process until he goes frenzy and can easily be killed

 

again, this is the strategy i found while soloing him. if you have a partner, is can be easier as one can distract while the other shoots him on the back, besides that the strategy works the same.
