Invasion Question

I'm coming back to Warframe after a fairly long break, so this mode is new to me.  I have a simple question about how it works.

 

When it says you need to do 5 to get your reward, does that mean 5 of the same mission?

 

If that is the case, does that mean you can do 5 of each active mission?

 

What if you do 5 for 1 side for 1 mission, and 5 of the other side for a different mission?

 

Any info on how exactly this works is appreciated.

You have to do 5 missions for a single side to get the reward.

Doing 1 mission for the other side will just take away 1 completed mission from the side you supported first, you will have to do 10 missions if you change you mind and want the other reward.

 

You can't have both rewards.

You're free to run the mission as much as you'd like.

 

You only need 5 runs of A side to claim the reward upon completion of the node. You will need to run 10 for the opposite side  if you want to change prizes.

 

Example: 4/5 in favor of corpus, Running for corpus side give 5/5 and you get their reward for the invasion. Running the mission for Grineer will make it 3/5 for corpus taking away from it.

 

But you can run it as many times as you want to get your reward faster, or if you just feel like it.

You have to do 5 of the same mission for one faction to get the battlepay for that node. It doesn't matter if you support the other faction in a different node, but doing so in the same will cancel out some of the progress for the other faction.

That's what I meant.  So you have to run each node 5 times to claim its reward, but you can run a different node for a different side and that's ok?

I have always wondered whether someone has done 15 runs for one side and then 10 for the other in order to attempt to get both rewards

If you do 15 runs for one side you would have to do 20 for the other to get the reward. And yes I have done that lol

Yes, each node is a separate battle so you can support a different faction each time.

 

With the exception of Infested, you can never support them just defend.

 

One thing people have not mentioned yet, Battle pay is only paid out when the battle is over (reaches 0% or 100%).  You will get a ingame mail stating the battle pay has been added to your inventory.

 

Keep an eye out for Invasion Survival nodes as they reward a Tier 2 or Tier 3 key guaranteed at 15 minutes every run on top of the Battle pay for that node.

Aren't keys guaranteed on every 3rd mark of every t2/3 survival?

 

How does survival work on invasion?  15 minutes satisfies all 3 wins worth?  Does invasion have defense too?  Would 15 waves count as all 3 wins?

Can anyone tell me how defense/survival count as far as infested invasions?  See above.

Defense and Survival count as one completion regardless of how long you stay.  From my experience most people leave ASAP to get it done quickly but if you are short on keys it might be worth staying in teh Survivals if it is not at a low percent.  Grineer vs Corpus nodes are always Exterminate missions, only the Infestation outbreaks get variety.
