Notice :

I am still looking for a concept artist to help me out for this, know anyone or wanna help?

Start

At first i named him Archon, which is a name drawn from arachnid ... but after a while and looking over some things I decided that Archon (which is lead away from the word Archanid) to be better.

He sticks to walls like a spider and he strikes fiercely like one, archon uses shadows and stealth tactics but switches when the battle awakens.

I took insperation from an intresting enemy encountered in the Ninja gaiden series, the black spiders ninja spider :

NG2_Art_Enemy_Ninja_Claw_2.jpg

I would also say I got insperation from the likes of Zed of league of legends, mostly to see how he could become effective when stealth was gone.

I still do plan on getting some art of him later on! =3

All tenno know the basic of stealth, if your enemy does not hear or see you the will not find you or attack you.

Either sneak by or kill all in your path, a rule most tenno follow.

Ash prefers swift takedowns, using his abilities in combat as well to disrupt the enemy.

Loki, who uses tricks and deception to fool his enemy.

However they both share one form of stealth, invisibility the use of becoming invisible before the sight of an enemy.

Archon says that there is more than just hidden from eyesight, the shadows make his hiding spot as does plain sight.

Archon is a stealth frame whos ability's change depending on the sitaution, meaning that when stealth is gone (aka enemy has seen him or fellow tenno) his abilities will have a different effect.

He uses energy's of the void to manipulate flows of energy and create deadly effects, while also assisting his fellow tenno in sneakin on the enemy.

Most noteable is that Archon has the ability to stick to walls, when tenno wall run to their max they will slide down Archon does not thanks to a special kind of hooks on the toes of his feet and claws on his hands.

This allowes him to hide in places the enemy thinks last to look, and plot his next move. Able to cast abilities and access his inventory if need be. (cough scanning cough)

Stats :

Health : 125 (425) at level 30

Power : 150 (200) at level 30

Armor : 60

Shield capacity : 110 (310) at level 30

Sprint speed : 1.20

Stamina : 100

Abilities :

1. Shadow strike.

Archon shadow dashes to target enemy literaly appearing behind him and stabbing him with a void blade, stabbing the enemy can have one of two effects.

If Archon is still in stealth and he kills target enemy with the ability, he will then dawn the enemy as a disguise able to walk around as him for a peroid of time.

While in disguise he can still cast his third ability "Mark" without being revealed however attacking or casting other abilities will remove the disguise.

If Archon is detected the ability will instead deal high single target damage, unless he is marked.

When a target is marked Shadow strike will instead create a shadow duplicate of Archon that will randomly attack enemies with melee weapons.

2. Shadow sight.

Archon imbues his helmet and those of the fellow tenno with void energy's that grant them sight in the near future, which allowes him and them to see the patrol route an enemy is about to take.

This will be shown by burning footsteps that become brighter when the enemy is about to get to that part of his route.

The footsteps will only be shown while in stealth, Archon will instead recieve increased crit chance when he is in combat as his eyes instead focus on the critical points of an enemy.

3. Mark

Mark is best used with shadow strike, if mark is used on an enemy and he is hit with shadow strike while Archon is in combat then he will spawn a shadow duplicate.

However mark also allowes Shadow strike to be cast from a great distance, thus Archon uses it to get past enemies with shadow strike and don a disguise.

Enemies who are marked show through walls much like when someone uses a scanning device, all Archon has to do is look at them and cast shadow strike.

He will then appear in the shadow behind the enemy and become him if he kills him! Thus Archon must always be aware of his enemy shadow strike deals high single target damage but some enemies are simply to strong!

4. Darkness.

The pinical of his stealth training, and also the most flashy of his abilities.

Archon creates a sphere of darkness and void energy's, within this sphere enemies are unaware and take more damage. Nor can they shoot or react to anyone infront of them.

Archon can then stealth kill them or his fellow tenno in the sphere can, when the sphere goes down it creates a ripple and enemys caught in the ripple are struck with fear if atleast 1 enemy dies in the sphere.

Fear causes them to deal less damage, and move slower their armor is also reduced.

Sphere however will ruin his stealth capabilities, as enemies clearly see the giant sphere suddenly appear.

Enemies outside the sphere won't shoot inside of it as they can't see whats in there.

Final

Archon uses his abilities of shadow and darkness to hide, leap and hide among the enemy.

One needs to be aware that he can only have 1 shadow duplicate, and that his disguise can be used when he carries packages.

Disguise will also hide your sentinel, making it unable to attack anyone or be seen by anyone while its active.

Disguise will make a noise to you that goes faster and faster to indicate when its about to run out, casting shadowstrike on a unaware enemy will not reveal you even when cast from disguise.

Tips improvement all is appriciated =3

Here are some images as to the concept of his feet and hands, and to show why hes able to use them to stick to a wall.

Lore

All tenno understand the basis of stealth, remain hidden and unseen by the enemy keep them unaware and strike.

Data of old shows many methods of sneaking, and the use of stealth.

However before the tenno entered their fatefull cyrosleep there were some who could go beyond the basis of stealth.

The art of invisibility was a well understood one, important to many a tenno but to some invisibility wasn't good enough.

They meditated, they had their frames severly changed by the void and embraced the darkness that it brought around them.

And so came the Archon, known also as shadow walkers.

They were the ones who would hide among the enemy, they were the ones that would strike from angels unseen or unheard.

They created the shadow skills, a special void energy capable of many feats.

Their shadow blade and shadow clone being among the most difficult to achieve.

When one was struck by a shadow blade it used the energy's of the blade to scan the oppenent, then form those energy's around Archon disguising him exactly like his oppenent.

But the blade served a much darker purpose, as it was also meant to take enemies out for a long peroid of time.

You see surviving the shadow blade doesnt mean the end of your struggle, for depending on where it strikes that part of the body would feel pain beyond their knowledge.

This pain was uneasy to treat and often the only option is to replace the part of the body that is suffering.

It was a skill like shadow strike that made the Archon feared, for if you survived the next weeks would be hell.

But to merly strike an enemy was not enough, thus the Archon developed another attack. By combining mark they could use an oppenet who had spotted them to create their duplicate.

The craft was very effective and trained with daily, the art to make another fighter even if only temperal was a nessecary feat for the Archon who were most locked to fighting by themselves.

When they faced threats like the grineer and corpus it was safe to say neither side had ever tought that tenno would arrive with such patcience and deception.

They had endured the Loki frames, the ashes ... but the Archon truely made them paranoid as no one was ever sure who was an friend and who was a foe.

((Lore is still a wip more to come later))

Seems like an awesome warframe. Some of his abilities are a bit overpowered but with a few tweaks to them it would be rather fine. Excellent idea for a warframe awesome for stealth and run and shoot tactics.

Dont want to steal your ideas or anything or judge them but to be fair i believe that the abilities would be rather cool. My suggestions would be so that itd be fair for enemies the abilities to be like this.

1. Shadow strike - do deal high damage to ,,Marked" enemies or unaware and become invisible if kill is succesfull if not spawn a shadow like a clone that attacks the enemy until it dies or the enemies die instead.

2. Shadow Sight - seems completely fine and useful so no change there.

3. Mark - a bit overpowered on the teleport part even when enemy is behind wall however it would be fun to try out when trying to cut through enemy lines or just pass the area without much problems. so leave it at that its perfectly fine :)

4.Darkness - a bit OP ability but since i cant think of anything better i wont coment on it any further.

Still and awesome idea and id love to see it released sometime in the near future.  Really nice warframe!!! All rights and ideas go to JackStalka  since it was his idea. Thumbs up mate :)

I was under the impression this was going to be one of those "ub3r n1nja w4rfram3"'s (I'm sorry but that's what Kage makes me think - it's an overused username with plenty of idiots using it) and now I realise how I was mistaken.

Though clinging to walls like that is a good way to persuade stealth players, it'd spawn a wave of dissent from people who want things like passive traits for each frame. The powers are good and I like that it shifts to fit the situation, adapting to what happens.

Overall I'd call this a pretty good selection of powers with a unique twist to them.

Yeah I was juggling with the clin to walls effect ... the reason I put it in was cause in old ninja style, they would often use climbing gear to hide around places ... and to cling to walls ... doesnt seem like an op passive really ... more jsut a neat trick ... but I will keep working on it.

And glad you liked it! =3

Well let me explain why I wanted disguise rather than invis ... a true ninja art of old was to disguise yourself so that the enemy was unaware of you. Old ninjas would dress as regular farmers and soldiers would be none the wiser.

Being invisible just seemed so overused to me thus I opted for hidden in plain sight.

The reason for marked to go through walls is because shadow strike even on high levels lacks much range, thus marked is needed to make it a good combo for the long range targets.

The clone does indeed die if damaged to much, and there can only be 1 clone.

Shadow strike does need better tweaking I agree, it is his bread and butter skill so thank you for your input I will see what I can adjust to make it more "balanced" =3

**EDIT**

One more thing about the ult, unlike others you still have to do the work, enemies won't just die in the sphere. You and or your fellow tenno must kill them to spawn the second effect.

Perhaps I should make him immobale like when Nyx does her ult she stays in place.

Vheraun has a good point, yeah. Zephyr's slower falling is a passive ability although since it can be attributed to the Oxium in her frame, it's more acceptable.

But I also think its a matter of looking what use it has, in kage his case all what he will do now is stick to a wall at the end of his wallrun.

It is also a matter of finding the right wall and sticking to it still costs stamina its not like he stays up there forever and ever.

Never heard of him to be honest, i drew my insperation from Zed of league of legends really =3

Ah, then you should read The Night Angel trilogy by Brent Weeks. Kylar Stern is the main character and is very similar to your concept by the end of the last book. His is a Wetboy, an assassin with magical powers, who gains control of an artifact that is very powerful, called a Ka'kari.

They are a good read. I recommend them.
