Ui Bug? Text Scrambled And Many Other Strange Occurances.

Hi guys,

I think I was playing Io invasion this evening when I came across this. I've had a few bugs in the past, but never seen anything like this. Anyone seen this before / know any potential triggers?

Symptoms (that I noticed):

Text appeared 'scrambled'

Health / shield / energy bars did not load at all

Stamina bar did not update

White edge of screen - similar to out of oxygen in survivals

No reticule

Minimap when small was blank - just my icon static in the middle

Minimap when large showed rooms and players but nothing else (didn't get a screenshot of this)

No sentinel information

 

What was really wierd was the text wasn't static, but it kept changing. I wouldn't quite call it scrolling, but that kind of feel.

 

Moreover, and this could have just been my team being faster than me in my hindered state - but I didn't encounter any enemies in the level. We were grinding for G3, and think we encountered a stalker - but nobody saw it or killed it. Someone thinks they found the loot from a dead Stalker, but otherwise nothing. Lights flickered but that was the only visible symptom.

 

Otherwise, the level was normal. Weapons worked, and I could freely switch between primary and secondary. Some drops were collectible - mats and mods for example definitely worked normally.

 

Then towards the end of the level everything just went back to normal. Not long after killing the stalker, because I was playing Nekros, tried using descecrate but it didn't work due to 'this power has not been unlocked' as I hadn't been able to select desecrate, but was soon thereafter able to select it and use it, and at that point the UI was back to normal. No obvious triggers...

 

So I'm very confused, and can't reproduce it. Anyone else encountered anything similar?

I've had this happen to me before, however I had to restart the client in order to fix it myself.  I have no idea what caused it.

I have this problem once in a while its a little annoying but the game is in beta so I dont get worked up about it
