You can, by looking in your audio options. There is a Lotus Audio slider, i'm pretty sure.

sometimes (very rarely) you get like corpus invading the ship during the mission, but otherwise very obvious.

You just think when you're not getting answer from lotus in survival or other mission what she will say, but i'm not forgeting her text she chats.

I found lowering the speech volume in the audio settings to be quite helpful.

Now I don't need to bother hearing her nonsense. Surprisingly, the only thing I pay attention to is when she mentions if a heavy is nearby.
