whats the best dagger to use for base damage?

the dual ichors are axes not daggers and the fangs and ether daggers are dual daggers im pretty sure he is referring to the single daggers aka the ceramic heat and dark daggers which in that case would be the ceramic for just normal attacks

single dagger im pretty sure the ceramic has the highest base damage for normal attacks the heat is better at ground slam and dark is charge attacks

heat dagger isnt bad, average allround, has 1.5atk speed so useful for coptering, and has pure fire aoe dmg of a decent radius (jump atk), cant say ive used many single daggers tho.

There's only 3. Heat Dagger, Ceramic Dagger, Dark Dagger.

 

Heat Dagger has the highest radius and a proc for slam attack.
